Nobody offered when I was a kid. I figured I must not be cute enough.

Hopefully this results in different companies manufacturing GLP-1 drugs and more serious fare.

You guys really made me think about how amazing it is that in the 80's, they said "If someone offers your kid free drugs, the problem is the drugs" and nobody went "Wait, if someone offers my kid free drugs, the drugs are a problem but probably not the BIGGEST danger here."

I never ever did coke. Everyone around me has at some point. I just smoked grass, but that didnt even happen until I was 22.

Never have, never will. I drink a ridiculous amount of coffee per day, and had a relatively brief but moderately nasty diet pill addiction back when ephedrine was over the counter. First husband said "hey, I think you need to lay off those diet pills, I'm getting worried about you." "WHATDOYOUMEANI'MFINETHEY'REHERBALIFEELGREAT".

If cocaine even comes OUT at a social event, I merrily tell everyone good night and get on out of there. I personally do not need to ever think of that one as no big deal.
 
I went to my first concert, by Chuck Mangione in 1976 at 11yrs old with my siblings and a friend, all under the age of 13. During the concert , we were constantly being passed joints, which we passed on, without smoking, that continuously circled the tennis stadium. There was an actual visible cloud of smoke hovering above..

The variety and number of substances I have been freely offered ever since would shock you.

I said no to most but not all..

1st one's free
 
I've only ever been offered free drugs by complete strangers I have no association with at concerts. Almost entirely weed - 99.999999% of the time. Ether once. Well, like 5 times in a row by the same guy. The ether made him forget he had offered.

At parties from acquaintances, or acquaintances of acquaintances? God knows how many and what all was offered.

But never while just, like, out and about randomly. Never been approached on the street and offered anything. And the only time I got offered anything as a kid was by other young people.

I've done coke once (well, multiple times in one night). Never again in more than a decade since. It's the only drug I've ever done where I felt like I needed to do more of the drug, and I've done, well, a whole lot of drugs.
