I have stopped injecting Tirz 20 days ago. I don't know if it is known by elora studies or not. But I have tried it without any other GLP's and it is working for me. That is why it is called my own research and 3 days ago injected it for the first time. So just told what I have been experiencing so far and can not verify if it will stay like that. Also can not recommend it to anybody. I am just comparing my results with his. By the way, also did not have any difficulties during 20 days without tirz and lost >1 kg. Have been observing that weight already 5 days on scale. Did not observe any weight change with elora yet despite remarkable hunger suppression.

One fact I have to mention is that I have never titrated to a higher dose than 5mg tirz during my whole journey of 44 weeks and I am responding to very low doses. So can also not compare my results with yours.
Keep us updated. You might be the first to try it as a standalone here. It will be interesting to see around the 30-day mark when all of the Tirz has cleared from your system. That is when the real battle starts. Can Elora stand on its own? Thanks for sharing your journey.

I'm currently taking 10 mg of Tirz per week. Before that, I was on Reta at 12 mg per week, but I had bad side effects with it. Things are going better with Tirz.

However, I’m gaining weight again and wanted to switch to Elora instead of Cagri (because it didn’t really work). I’ve been on it for 3 weeks. I started with 3mg. The first week, it suppressed my appetite well. The second week, I didn’t feel anything at all, and now I’ve increased the dose to 5mg and am starting to notice a slight effect again. No side effects so far.

Medications generally don't work as well for me, so I need higher doses. Cagri only really helped for a maximum of two months. It lost its effectiveness quickly, very quickly.

I was hoping Elora would last longer, but it seems to be following the same pattern. However, it doesn't make me feel sick. I just don't feel very hungry. Cagri was more like a bulldozer. Elora
Elora is interesting. I wonder if the low responders like me would do well to add this since it hits different receptors. Do most of our vendors carry it?

Not at this stage. I've seen a bunch of Gb's go belly up, so the option remains Uther or Uther Reseller, which I used. It has been tested multiple times and still seems to be the leader of the bunch. That is likely to change since responses have been overall positive in the space.

I will sure be updating. I don't try to loose weight anymore. But just try to get rid of some leftover belly fat. This is also why I try it as standalone. If it can prevent fat gain, it is enough for me.

Bought from fat cat Ella and delivery from China to Belgium took only 5 days.

Please don’t be discouraged by some of the comments here. Keep sharing your journey with us, as I know I’m not the only one who’s very keen to hear how you get on.
There is one comment between yours and the original post. What is this, "discouraged by the comments"? I'm sure I missed something or you're pre-empting the comments yet-to-be-posted.

Yes it can. I went from 240 to 180 in 48 weeks during a clinical trial. Was still losing when the trial ended.

I am not talking about the trial. I am talking about us. Sharing our research on this forum.

The results should be the same

This thread has 3x the views of the combined population of all the completed trials on Elora. The number of confounding variables between the populations in trials vs the hodge podge here, not to mention the grey market products being stacked offer plenty of room for an increase in understanding of how it's expected to work.

Thanks cause I’m hoping to switch too

If you are down 26 kg from 128 , over a bit less than a year, then that is still 20% weight loss, which is not above average for tirz or reta, but not terrible, and is enough to substantially alter the way the drugs might work , as basically all the work of the GLP drug is now used up stopping you from regaining the 20% with not much if any left to cause more weight loss. I think it is extremely important to consider this issue as otherwise it can look like the drugs just do not work at all, when what they are doing is preventing weight regain.

It sounds like you are not a low responder, more like a bit below average but well within the bulk of the average set of responses.

Hopefully adding elora to reta is enough to cause further weight loss, especially if the reta dose cannot be increased due to side effects. In the preliminary tirz plus elora study it did cause 11% extra weight loss at 9mg added to 15 of tirz.
Yes, you are right. But I lost more in the first 3 months. The last 5 or 6 Months i plateauedaround 105kg. I added elora to the mix and now I lose slowly again. I want to lose about 15 to 20kg more until I am on a healthy weight.

I use Tirz and dropped Reta, because of the hyperglycemia. It works better with tirz now.

Qysmia includes the stimulant phentermine, which does work to some degree and some of us have used before GLPs were around. Phentermine typically requires a quick, in-office EKG before being prescribed, but the telehealth providers don't seem to care.

The other ingredient is an anticonvulsant that I never tried:

An obesity specialist is ideal since many primary care providers have relatively little experience or willingness with phentermine.

Nootropics like piracetam may be a theoretical option for some people:

Topiramate 😭😐 my dr put me on that (topomax) when my insurance refused to pay for GLPs. I lasted a week. Gave me the worst GI distress I’ve ever had from a med.

Last week was a good week. I think elora works now better. Maybe it takes a while to notice something with it. With cagri I had the effects immediate. With Elora it seems, it takes a while. I now lose weight again and my hunger is under control. I weighed me yesterday and was under 100kg for the first time in 15 years.

Does this means that elora will have to be continued as long as the person is taking triz (even in maintenance)? Or it is only a short term add on to break platueu etc?

Also, as the half life is much longer for elora, why is the dose frequency supposed to be the same as the weekly tirz?

Thanks for that link , I was not aware any results existed yet for this, and the results are amazing.

Elora 3 mg + TZP 5 mg: Weight loss -17.0%

confirms my guess that low dose elora plus low dose reta or tirz might work really well with low side effect rates ( presumed )

Elora 9 mg (3 mg start) + TZP 15 mg: Achieved retatrutide like -29.0% reduction in body weight (a treatment difference of -11.2%)

This is the best result ever seen for any GLP as far as I know, only 3 patients so preliminary but only over 32 weeks so almost zero chance this is at plateau, and it shows an added 11.2% weight loss over tirz alone, which while not truly additive might be enough to get a lot of more severely obese people to normal or near normal weights. There is a very good chance there could be an extra 10-15% more weight loss if followed for another 30-40 weeks, as it was already as effective as 72 weeks of 12mg reta. Plus if it was reta instead of tirz there could be an extra 5%, so in theory you might get to 40-45% weight losses over more than a year, and maybe as high as 50% with reta and elora. This could be enough for all but the extremely severe obese with BMI's of 50+, and definitely could rival surgery.

Elora 9 mg (3 mg) + TZP 15 mg (Combo)- Resulted in another retatrutide like weight loss of 25.5% 12/16 completed, 4 dropouts, maybe due to excessively fast weight loss is speculated

Really just confirms the previous result, but with more completed numbers and 25% in 6 months is amazing

These results were in those without severe obesity- Average BMI was low at 32.8 and 30.5, so are likely to be better in those more overweight, and it seems they might need to slow down the dosing increases as it is speculated in the article that weight loss rates could have been excessive causing withdrawls from the study.
Based on my (limited, no Elora) experience, I'd attribute the 25% attrition rates to sides rather than to fast weight loss. Hopefully we'll learn more as data (including, I hope, some qualitative) are analyzed.
