Dosing confusion

I am currently doing compound. Soon, i will be switching to gray. I don't mean to sound like a newbie but the dosing and numbers confuse the hell out of me.

Mg to ml to units

0.25mg is 10 units. and 1.5mg is 60.....i don't know how to calculate this. Same with BAC water. how do you know how much to add? I also do not understand vile sizing. I want to buy a vile storage container but don't know if i should get one that holds 3ml, 5ml, 10ml.....goes up to 20ml

and i know about peptide calculators. I have looked at a few and they don't help!

does anyone have a peptide numbers/vile sizing for dummies guide?

Good questions! The best place to start is the guide in the first link in my signature.

Regarding your specific question:

1. learn the difference between volume measurements in metric or metric-derived (mL/milliliter and units -- AKA insulin units), vs weight/mass measurements (mg or milligrams)

2. there's no consistent dilution concentration--not even with the pharma name-brand stuff. You want to start out with a goal in units, geared to the easier-to-use numbers on your syringes, then use the reverse calculator that's also linked in my signature. If you scroll down it, you'll find a converter between your mg dose goal and mcg (micrograms), which you'll enter at the top part. The typical vial holds 3mL of bacteriostatic water, and I usually shoot for between 1 and 3 mL to add to the vial as per the reverse calculator.

3. Now you understand that "0.25mg is 10 units. and 1.5mg is 60" is not conceptually correct.

Following. I think I have the maths right but I can’t find a calculator that uses a pen.

Where is your sig bud? I’m not new to forums, I was a moderator for 12 year on one… my experience the sig is usually under the first post by a user on each page.

You need to log in via the app or be online to see signatures.

Your pen has a 3ml or 3cc cartridge (same thing). You will fill it directly from your vial/syringe, so nothing different has to happen. Once ready to go, you just dial how many units you want to take. It's almost too easy. I have 4 pens ready to go at all times in the fridge.

Ah I see. Thanks bud, Never realised there was an app. I’ll see if I can get it. Appreciated. The way I worked it out in my head is….30mg of reta and 1ml of bac would be 3mg dose at 10 clicks/units? Is that right? Apologies to the OP for hijacking the thread. Hopefully some useful info.

Same here regarding ios. There’s a thread on how to install the app which is in fact just adding it to home screen and enabling push notifications. I’ve done this but still can’t see any sigs

Yeah I absolutely can’t wrap my head around this dosing at all. I currently use 1ml of bac water in a 10mg (strength) vial of reta. 20 clicks is 2mg. I might just stick to 10mg. Edit* I’ve found the answer. My maths is correct. 1ml of bac water makes 10 3mg doses.

I am. If you go to the drop down menu on the landing page and scroll all the way down... can you see the option to download the app? The drop down is the 3 horizontal lines.

I'm not sure that last sentence is accurate...

Have you tried using a peptide reconstitution calculator?

I was basing my conclusion on your previous comment that said you were using a 10mg vial.

Yes, 30mg into 1mL = 10 doses of 3mg at 10 units per dose.

Oh sorry bud. Yeah I am currently using a 10mg vial with 1ml of bac so 20 clicks/units makes 2mg 5 doses. I’ve ordered 30mg vials and was planning on using 1ml of bac again to make 3mg.
