I'm sticking with tirz for now. It's cheaper too, so I can have a bigger hoard. Then if I need a boost, I will add survo or switch to reta.

IMO the most conservative progression is Semaglutide first because it works on your GLP-1 receptor. Then, Tirzepatide because it hits GLP-1 and GIP. Finally, Retatrutide which hits GLP-1, GIP and GCG.Bettyannboop said:I’m making my first order tomorrow so I’m glad you said this! My research has pointed me to the direction of Tirz & Reta for GLP1 and cagri and a few others for additional supplementation.
Sema did absolutely nothing so I must move on. Are you saying I should start with Tirz first? I know Reta is a powerhouse but if Tirz works, it works.

How much do you plan to lose? Are you planning on staying on a maintenance dose for a long time?Bettyannboop said:I’m making my first order tomorrow so I’m glad you said this! 100+ but as long as I can get food noise to go away, it won’t take me long as I enjoy being active. With no food noise and a good diet, 100lbs will be a breeze. So… not long I guess? Idk at minimum I’d say 6 months or so I suppose.Pinmebaby1moretime said:How much do you plan to lose? Are you planning on staying on a maintenance dose for a long time?
I went to Reta from Tirz because I don’t plan on staying on it for that long. The triagonist part sold me. Working slowly to increase dose without symptoms.

That’s why I don’t exercise and I make sure tons of food regularly, even more than I’d like to eat. I try to avoid having nowhere to go if something doesn’t work.AndyPanda said:I really don’t understand why people are starting on Retatrutide. You have nowhere to go once you max it out, with the exception of adding Cagri.

Just doing some quick math, the most weight you should be losing per week is 2 lbs max (I’m losing about 1.4lbs a week and I work out twice a day, fasted morning runs or swims for an hour, then Orange theory fitness type HIIT class at night). So for 100+ lets give the grace of a year-52 weeks. If you take tirzepatide it’s cheaper but most likely you may have to increase to higher doses due to stalls. With retatrutide, it may be more costly but you could potentially get the same fat loss results at a lower dose. At the end of the day, you will lose weight on either!Bettyannboop said:100+ but as long as I can get food noise to go away, it won’t take me long as I enjoy being active. In my opinion, it's okay to lose up 1% of your bodyweight per week on average.Pinmebaby1moretime said:Just doing some quick math, the most weight you should be losing per week is 2 lbs max (I’m losing about 1.4lbs a week and I work out twice a day, fasted morning runs or swims for an hour, then Orange theory fitness type HIIT class at night). The 2 lbs per week is to prevent muscle loss, saggy skin, gallstones, etc. you can read up on it to get more insight!

I think this is an important distinction and would add that when first starting it is possible to lose even more if you have been living a sedentary and excessive high calorie lifestyle for many years.keangkong said:In my opinion, it's okay to lose up 1% of your bodyweight per week on average.

In 2011, my husband & I took HCG drops for 3 mos. & we both lost 50 lbs. & stopped. Weight gradually came back on. I soon began waking up with a numb & tingling R arm. Thought I was dying. It felt like Pop-Rocks in my hands. I do have CI-PN, so not sure if from that. My oncology labs showed my B12 was really high. That’s when they weren’t able to label as HCG anymore & sold it more as aminos. Maybe it did work? We ate the same boring chicken w/ Johnny’s daily, salad w/ red wine vinegar, & carb were those awful brown crackers. Maybe apple too? But was it really urine from pregnant women that we put under our tongue?kaahhllll said:Back in like 2010, people were using HCG along with a calorie deficit to "burn stored fat". Supposedly it "turned on your fat burning". Didn't take me long to realize that it was only the calorie deficit that was causing people to lose weight. And then studies from Mayo clinic and a few other places stated it had no effect on fat burning/weight loss. I worked in a small family doctor's office, and the Dr was big into it. Tried it, along with the rest of the office, noticed nothing, stopped it.

This was me! Fatigue and some days I was so dizzy I couldn’t stand. Tirz never done that to me and I’m topped out at 15mg and have been for months. Gave it a 2 wk rest before trying Reta. Needless to say it wasn’t for me.FlowerFairy said:For me it was the crushing fatigue, severe constipation and that none of my food tasted good anymore. If I was ok with sleeping 16 of 24 hours and being disgusted by the taste of all of my formerly favorite foods plus the digestive issues, I’d go back. I was losing faster on low dose Tirz.

Thanks! I'm pretty surprised/impressed with how well its going, honestly. I'm curious how much of it is the Reta and how much is will power to not be fat anymore.Calm Logic said:Amazing results on the lowest possible dose.
Can you link to the body comp scale you are using, or mention the brand?
