Alright, so a certain supplier has just released a flash sale of Reta 24mg kits for just above $1/mg. The catch is they lost power at some point in the process and the product has degraded to 98.9% after one month at Jano. Is this worth it to buy? The vials seem to be overdosed too to around 28mg. How would the lessening of purity affect dosing and efficacy of the product?

Also, you can find non-degraded Reta for ~$1.00/mg that isn't sold by... that person. That's a win-win.

Ultimately, it's probably fine. However, if you want, scroll down to the bottom of that page and see the 99% guarantee and ask yourself why that's even there if they're selling peps under 99%?

Scratch and dent peptides! If it was double the price it's only a $2 difference per week at starting dose. As @peptideusername pointed out the guarantee doesn't jive. Why should the rest of the story? Why bother with blind trust for the price of a cheap coffee? You're gonna make up the difference in food savings (whatever GLP you take) to offset the expense of piece of mind.

The J5 server had a GB @ $1.13/mg including batch testing - it tested at 99.8%

BriStaxx has a GB running right now for $1.2/mg but hasn't closed yet

SSA had it direct for $1.13/mg but they're dark now for holidays.

Purity is not static, it continues to degrade. If some corners were cut during manufacturing, there's no guarantee it doesn't accelerate degradation.

Would I keep it in my freezer for a rainy day if someone gifts it to me? Sure. I'll also have no problem pinning it since I filter everything. Does loss of power mean sterility may be compromised? I don't know, do you? Would I pay almost the same price as for properly manufactured product? Absolutely not.

QSC was selling reta for less than $1/mg. However, after shipping, it would cost more than $1/mg. QSC is . . . currently unavailable. SRY is charging slightly more than $1/mg for reta but that includes shipping. I recently ordered a kit of 30 mg for $330 from SRY.

I don't get the hate, if anything I appreciate the transparency so we can make informed decisions. I wouldn't order this power outage Reta but if someone else would, OK. They're comfortable with that level of "I don't know" type risk, I'm not. We all make our decisions.

I would be concerned with the product rapidly degrading like the R12 kit he replaced back in Oct/Nov.

Even if your dosing 12mg, a 24mg kit will last like 4 months. There is no telling what you will be pinning during month 4. This assumes you are on 12mg and most aren't. This seems like a big risk to save $5-$20 vial. Also, degraded GLP's aren't just weaker than not degraded, you could experience increased side effects from dosing a low-purity peptide.

uh oh did someone disparage the sacred vendor? He sells peptides under 99% purity even though he has a 99% guarantee. Why even have the "guarantee" if you're going to sell around it? How silly.
