保险公司填写的蒙加罗剂量有误

To clarify I used to be on the 10mg dosage then my doctor recently changed the dosage to 12mg.indolent said:
Walgreens pharmacy app sends emails to you when your prescriptions are due for refill. When I got the email it sent me a reminder to fill my 10mg because I had 1 more refill of 10mg left.
So I selected to fill the refill not paying attention to the fact that my 12mg didn’t have anymore refills and had to contact my doctor for a refill.
So Walgreens system isn’t smart enough to stop sending reminders to fill refills if you have a higher dosage of the same medication on File.
So when I got notified that the prescription was ready for pick up I failed to read the prescription dosage email and also failed to ask the pharmacy what dosage I was picking up. Walgreens has a rule that no master if you pick up the medication and leave the store they don’t take the medication back if you accept and leave the store.
There are videos on youtube showing how to disassemble the pens and move them to vials, and you could then use an insulin syringe to measure out your 12.5mg dosage.

I'd discuss this with your doctor. Perhaps he can send an Rx to a compounding pharmacy (I think they can still legally fill tirzepatide until the judge rules on injunction, but don't delay) for the 2mg weekly topoff. I bought my tirz 3-month supply from Southend Pharmacy, with a prescription submitted by telehealth provider Brellohealthstedia said:

Actually, if you follow the directions, the pens are easy to safely disassemble and then manually inject into an empty vial. Takes about 2 minutes.raw_oyster_eater said:

my instructions say do not attempt to disassemble if i remember correctly. and i thought i read on here people trying to do it wasted the product.

1.71 x 6 = 10.26 (dose every 6 days)
10.26 is closer to the 10 in your pen than a draw on any reconstituted vial you'll get from a vendor with their over/under fills. One of mine just tested nearly 30% overfill!
With 6 day dosing you're only 4 days shy at the end of the box. Definitely in a refill window.

You kind of destroy the top of the pen when you disassemble it. Also, the dose is contained in something similar to a insulin cartridge with a needle on it. I'm not sure how you would refill it plus it would have Tirz residue remaining.raw_oyster_eater said:

I have only had to take a pen apart twice and I saw the videos to inject it into a vial. i didn't want to risk missing the shot and having my Tirz run down the side of the vial. Plus, i really wanted to see how the injection mechanism of the pen works.Teamaker said:

Will your insurance let you fill the 12.5 since it was the pharmacy's mistake? Might be worth calling and asking. Worst case, they say no. Best case, you have three months of just-in-case backup.
I am guessing that if @stedia is on this forum, they know about the easy availability and affordability of grey Tirz. Therefore, I might venture to also presume that picking up a monthly branded prescription from Walgreens implies they are getting it cheaper than a lot of people do? I know there are people purchasing grey kits of Tirz who also keep their insured Mounjaro Rx active, to build up their supply of stock.
All I'm saying is, this is not as concerning a problem – the 10mg versus 12.5mg – as it might be were we on Reddit right now and some poor soul who has no clue that there are other options out there is stuck taking a lower dose for a month. Or, if the original poster had been taking 12.5 but was now forced to take 10mg. They haven't even jumped up yet to the higher dose....
