For all the warnings about 'research only' and 'not for humans' I would expect more stories of bad outcomes or negative things happening but I'm not finding anything. Plenty of stories about nausea and constipation on regular pharma or compounded product too.

Has anybody here heard of research peptide issues other than the 'normal' side effects ?

Just the normal side effects of any glp1 medication. I read about someone having a bowel obstruction but that is a side effect caused by tirzapetide generally.

There is I guess a danger of someone overdosing because they can't figure out the dosing. I've seen people accidentally take 10 times what they should because they can't do simple math or be bothered to use a peptide calculator. But since the half life is so short it eventually runs through your system after a week or two.

I've also seen a shady vendor fill with sema at super high levels instead of tirzapetide because sema is cheaper. But that is rare now since most of these products have dropped in price over the last couple of years.

Bodybuilders buy direct from china and have for decades. Oils and peptides and some actual banned substances. Substances that have never gone through fda trials. They inject way crazy cocktails of things and are usually fine. It was me reading meso a couple of years ago that eased my mind.

The biggest danger is spending too much money because you want to try other Peptides or want to hoard.

Too true Dogmom 😁I went gray because mainstream tirz was no longer an option. Now my freezers are full of flasks of peptides, I'm on 4 different ones, my husband has joined in and I spend my leisure time reading books about peptides. It's my new hobby. I'm certainly not saving any money 🤑

Taking research peptides imo, is the same as taking name brand and compound. However, I always check the vendor testing and third party testing is very important. Sometimes, vials are overfilled. You might think that you're getting T30 and it's actually overfilled and is a vial of T30+. So, you would treat that vial as such. That's how you avoid running into any bad side effects.

On another forum, there was a story about a non-GLP1 peptide user who suffered a stroke as the result of a rare immune system response.

But side effects are on a bell curve and most people are in the boring middle.

I limit myself to compounds that have a lot of data for good human safety so I can know the risks. I am not going to pioneer anything because there is not enough information to even assess the risk.

It has to be said the people who died from research peptides are not reporting it.

Happy hump day y'all!

Still alive doesn't mean no inflamed pancreas or high liver enzymes or altered tsh with the thyroid. My levels were OK doing 10mg tirz twice a week so who knows...
Did you lose much faster?

7mg Cagri, 10.5mg Survo and 30.5mg Tirz per week you're either a skinny Fibril or a broke Oligomer.
