I've had great results with stacking Mots-c and 5-amino-1-mq subq(down 22lbs with increased energy in 2 months). My wife is uncomfortable with needles but would like to try something. I've read that oral bioavailability of 5amino-1mq is decent(38%). Does anyone have any success taking it via this route?

What dosing are you doing on the 5 amino.? I've seen everything from .5mg to 150mg sub q. Extrapolating mouse studies to humans is not helpful, or safe.

I'm doing 1mg/day. There's some crazy high dosage recommendations being thrown around out there!

I took 2.5 months of 200mg/day of the chloride kind (oral) after 1 month of the iodine kind (liquid).

Didn’t do jack shit.

Out of interest, how on earth are people meant to work out doses then? I agree that using peptides that have never had basic toxicity studies done in animals let alone actual dose ranging phase 1 studies in humans to work out the doses is not safe, basically by definition. But most of the peptides people on this forum are injecting or more rarely eating, have never had any human tests at all, except for the self testing of people online , and those anecdotal reports are not exactly scientifically reliable information. The ones who died are not going to post about it afterwards, so definitely a biased sample. /s So that leaves estimations based on conversions from rat or mouse doses, although in my experience most of the doses recommended online in various protocols ( which constantly mislead people into thinking they are much safer than they are ) are very different to the ones you might guesstimate from the rodent studies.
