Imo people also need to consider that your raking in significantly less roughage and mass. You will go to the restroom less. If your diet is high protein and fats virtually none of that will pass to stool. You probably won't go daily. As long as it isn't a strain to go it's fine.
It’s not always that. I had IBS-D prior to starting GLPs and took fiber daily- a bigger dose than many do- acacia fiber 5 tablespoons daily- and I went from 5x daily, always very soft to watery- to once every 3-5 days, passing rocks. And I was trying to eat a salad daily for extra fiber. I have finally gotten it from being concrete, but at its worst I was taking magnesium 750 mg, 2 senna-s twice daily, a prescription called bixibat 10 mg at lunch time, bisacodyl 10 mg at bedtime and miralax as needed. Oh, and I drink a gallon or more water daily. I was getting concerned. Not sure what changed, but it eased up and now it’s controlled with just daily miralax. It’s something physiological, at least in my case. But ymmv- my case was scaring me. I’m glad it has improved.

Ugh yes!! The poop struggle on sema is freaking real! I used to be super regular, like clockwork, but ever since starting, it’s been all over the place haha! Some days nothing, other days it’s like a surprise attack 😅

One time I was keto and kept craving sweets. So I found Russell Stover sugar free chocolates. I ate the entire bag at work. I will never make that mistake again. And I’m the type that can only go at home. What a nightmare, literally. So if you need to. Try that. 🤣🤣🤣 won’t disappoint.
I encourage everyone to read the Sugar Free Gummy Bear reviews on Amazon. They will cure depression. The only reviews that even come close are those for the Wolf T-Shirt. You can all thank me later!

The struggle is becoming real.

For first time in my life, I’m consistently inconsistent.

Trying to increase water and fiber intake, but not the best at that.

What are y’all finding success with? Miralax? Fiber pills?

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Oh man, I totally feel you on this! I've learned that water is key - I try to drink tons of water daily, and I notice when I'm not regular, my weight can fluctuate. Pro tip: coffee can definitely help get things moving. For fiber, I've found that mixing in some beans or lentils helps, and Miralax can be a good backup. Just don't go overboard. Stay hydrated, eat some fiber-rich foods, and you'll likely see improvement. Hang in there! 💩👍

Honestly can't relate, as I always had "loose movements" before Tirz. This med has been a game changer for making things more solid. However, in the rare times I needed it, mag citrate will clean you out like you've never seen before.

I eat a ton of plant foods, and add ground chia and ground flax to smoothies. The water intake makes all the difference for me. But when there is an issure I take Slippery Elm bark capsules with a lot of water. Its all in the name..

I had pretty intense IBS-D. Now if I’m not careful I just have C.. no IBS when it’s concrete.. I never thought I would.. Miss it..

40g chia seeds, 500ml soy milk, 40g protein isolate.

At least every 2 days

I did that too, only i went mountains biking after eating the whole bag lol never again

There’s a fibre source that isn’t talked about much but in my opinion is one of the better ones out there.

PHGG (Partially Hydrolised Guar Gum) it’s great for multiple reasons it’s got all the hallmarks of fibre, it’s gentle on the gut unlike others, won’t cause bloating, it’s a bit of a wonder fibre that it will firm things if too soft, and soften things up if too firm… it’s largely tasteless, dissolves away to nothing in water which makes it great for adding to a smoothy or spiking your favourite goto meals with some fibre goodness, adds a great silky texture to gravies or sauces.

Highly recommend as a cupboard staple.

Fruit smoothies with fiber powder added and fruit yogurt for probiotics keeping me mostly regular.

Not to come roaring in with TMI, but I've had microscopic colitis, confirmed by biopsy, since my late twenties. (It's pretty much like IBS.) There was no great way to manage it except being very careful about what I ate, maintaining my dignity by never daring to combine anything that involved a meal and being far from a restroom after, just in case, and not making any plans before 10 am, or if I did, getting up VERY early so that my stomach had settled by the time it was time to be around any people. I've had flare-ups put me in the hospital twice over the years, when I lost water faster than I could get it in until I finally just fainted where I was and someone drove me to the ER.

Tirzepatide ENDED that. If it stopped working for weight loss tomorrow, I'd STILL keep taking it forever, because oh my god, it is no longer a great deal of work to never be embarrassed and keep my medical issues to myself. I can even stay overnight while out and about if I want to, because I will be fine in the morning, EVERY morning.

I eat two kiwis for breakfast. That usually helps me to stay regular. Also, when it gets tough, I drink pear juice. It’s the Parent’s Choice brand from Walmart. It’s found in the baby section. It amazing!
