Do any of you use alipay? Is it safe? I'm still avoiding scripto. I've been at this I think about 4 or 5 months and I've been ok using vendors that take other forms of payment. But it's getting harder. I'm gonna have to just do it with crypto. But not sure how much longer I can get by with not using it.

I'm in the same boat as you re BTC and therefore have always used Alipay. I don't see any issues with using Ali in the near future, based on their relationship with US banks/USD clearing. Just be mindful that very little of the crap from those stores is over $100 so I don't place big payments that would anonymously stick out. However, as I said before, I don't see Alipayments getting flagged ... It would be more wise to scrutinize the vendor using the platform as payment

The vendor sends you a QR code for their store and tells you the price in 'Yuan', then you send from your app and Ali adds their fee (I think it's 3%) charged to the credit card you registered - done in 30 seconds.

I've dealt with Ali for over ten years, never had any shady transactions.

I've used Alipay 3 times. It's easy. But I've also used crypto, it's pretty darn easy. I buy on Coinbase app, transfer to Exodus wallet, and pay from there.

I used Alipay for my last purchase because I couldn't be asked to deal with crypto. Was so easy! All I had to do was make an account and add my credit card and then you scan the QR code to pay. And what do you mean passport? I didnt need anything like that.

I've used Alipay twice now. Make sure you're getting the correct vendor rep, and everything should be fine. It's super easy to use and really convenient.

Nothing wrong with crypto. You only have to open your curtains to see the mountains. My mistake! You don't have any curtains (Passport)
