Okay! 4 days of Melanotan I

No more than 30 minutes in direct sunlight, but a lot of time outside playing.

First pic is just after first injection

Second pic is 4 days later

I don't want a deep dark tan, more of a sunkissed look, so I'm very happy with this and zero burn.

I am olive skinned, 62 yr old

No makeup in either photo...don't wear makeup much unless I'm trying to get dolled up for something.

interesting! I'm kind of freaked out but intrigued by it. My girlfriend tried it and said it caused diarrhea and extreme libido - did you experience that?

I think the libido thing is ML2 not ML1.

If it wasn't for the high rate of nausea and spontaneous wood, I might be interested. Being a bit older, 55, I also don't want existing freckles to darken up that look like liver spots and cause me to look even older than I am. I probably wouldn't do a kit. Maybe one bottle in the spring of very low dose. Tadalafil works well enough for the libido issue.

I'm also really enjoying MT1. It's been just a couple of weeks but I definitely have the best tan I've ever had and without burning which is rare for me. Hasn't triggered any melasma which I was worried about. I had a couple days of flushing which I no longer experience. I've dropped the frequency back down to 1-2x a week and I do experience brief nausea about 30 min after pinning but it passes quickly so very manageable.

No that is what Melanotan 2 is known for which is one of the reasons I stayed away from it. I tried PT141 which is derived from MT2 and it made me sick as a dog. No issues with MT1

Yeah, I am just going for a bit of a sunkissed look for my sister's wedding in July, At 62, age spots are definitely something I'm watching for, but so far so good

How many mg of melanotan a week is required to get a tan and does the tan fade faster than normal when you stop.

I am wondering how many vials I need to get a light honey tan to last me June through September with minimal sun exposure.

Well, the first week I'm taking 200mcg every day x 5 days. The second week 250 mcg every other day...maintenance 200-250mg 2x a week...I will have to see how it goes, as this is the first time researching it.

I will say, at day 4 I am already at maintenance level...don't really want to go darker, was looking for a more sunkissed tone...we'll see how it shakes out. I am olive skinned to begin with, and tan fairly easily, but get a slight burn first time in the summer. This time, no burn

She's talking about MT1 you're referring to MT2

MT1 is just a bit weaker. It has all the same side effects, risks, just lower.

But keeping consistent with my brand of full and open transparency, I need to share what other people have reported:

Possible formation of new moles and darkening of existing moles with the UNREGULATED use of Melanotan I (i.e. poor peptide quality, although some people report that moles and freckles fade away after discontinuing use of Melanotan I)

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia: “Side-effects include darkened skin, increased moles and freckles, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, flushing of the face, involuntary stretching and yawning, and spontaneous erections.”

“Patchy loss of pigmentation” following 50 mg of Melanotan I used over two months (a CLEAR mis-use of the peptide)

One individual case report of a 23-year-old man developing malignant melanoma (although this comprehensive safety report examining multiple studies failed to find a definitive link)

In the book Peptide Protocols (Vol. 1), Dr. William Seeds introduces some very specific instances where Melanotan 1 should not be used:

Do not use if there is a personal or family history of melanoma or non-melanoma skin cancer

Melanocortins may increase blood pressure. Use with caution if hypertension is present

It is NOT recommended to use a melanocortin agonist concurrently with a PDE5 inhibitor in men due to risk of priapism

For me personally, I would try a single vial at a very low dose if I wasn't stacking other peptides that have their own side effects. E.g Cagri and Reta can already trigger some occasional nausea. I already have tadalafil for the.... So, I wouldn't want to stack side effects.

Most of the legit peps have side effects that affect some more than others. I can't take Tesa at any dose without getting CPS in both hands.

Looks good

I looked into more NIH articles and it appears to be more of a 5050 between the two. 1 tends to lean toward cancer, the other towards diabetes. 1 is a vasoconstrictor, the other a vasodialator.
