I'm currently on 10mg of Ozempic and plan to reduce to 5mg. It's expensive and I think I can maintain my weight loss at 5mg. I've been monitoring my blood sugars closely since starting this medication, and I'll need to continue doing so if I lower the dose to ensure both my weight management and glucose control remain stable.

As a new member here, I should introduce myself - I'm Mari, and I joined this forum because I've been navigating GLP-1 medications for both weight management and blood sugar control. I'm committed to safe medication use and harm reduction, and I'm here to learn from others' experiences while sharing my own journey responsibly.

The cost savings would be significant for me, and based on my previous experience with medication adjustments, I believe the lower dose could still be effective while being more sustainable financially.

10mg of Ozempic/Wegovy? What on earth?? If you're abusing the medication that bad I would switch medications to see if it works better for you

I went from 2mg/week down to 1mg/week and was losing just as much. Granted, I did not start reta because I was overweight. I started it to drop a few percentages in body fat as I am bodybuilding. It, + a few of the gh peptides, was incredibly effective at helping my body recomposition.

I must personally be very sensitive to reta because 2mg/week was wrecking my diet and put me in a pretty dangerous deficit (upwards of 700-800 calories less than I typically need for a cut) for about a month before I decided to drop down, and now I can eat nearly as much as I need while still getting all the other benefits. At least I managed to preserve my muscle while eating in such a defecit.

Have you neglected to include a decimal point? Other new members might read your post and think 10mg Sema is okay.
