How do you use DSIP, random? Have it on hand and Epithalon coming next week. You use nasal?
Just saw this--never tried DSIP, stopped looking for the answer when Epitalon was it. And no to nasal; I only do subq on anything.

What time do you dose the epithalon? Does it help you when you're off cycle or only when you're on?

My RS will do Epitalon and Pinealon for 20 days after the mitochondrial reset protocol of SS-31, NAD+ (my RS is taking oral precursors instead of subq NAD) and MOTS-c cycle. These are stacked on Reta and as needed Cagri. For context, RS is 60 yr woman researching weight loss, improved mitochondrial function, cellular energy and anti-aging/longevity.

I am on my first cycle of Epitalon doing 200mcg a day in the mornings. My sleep quality has greatly improved. I feel rested and ready to face the day when I wake up. Next cycle in 4 months I am going to up to 500mcg.

If you're taking oral precursors make sure you're taking TMG/methyl B to support methylation!

What made you decide on morning rather than night?

Honestly, I have been considering switching to nights. I so it in the mornings because that is what is recommended on Pep Pedia, but I get kinda tired for a bit after I pin it. So I have been considering switching to pinning at night. But I also see a number of people here and elsewhere say that when they pinned it at night, it was worse sleep than if they pinned in the morning. So who knows.

Arrrgh, peptides be a cruel mistress.

Josh Holyfield video on Epithalon. Pretty good explanation. I'm also an advocat of minimal effective dose. Tou can always titrate up.

Well crap. I pushed 10mg a day for 10 days. All of this stuff is a crap shoot I guess. Did I notice anything from that cycle? Not really other than trying to push 1ml a day at one time in one pin.

That is to be expected.

If you read the studies ( e.g. Overview of Epitalon—Highly Bioactive Pineal Tetrapeptide with Promising Properties and Epitalon increases telomere length in human cell lines through telomerase upregulation or ALT activity ) then it should be obvious that most of the effects would not be immediately noticeable.

The main exception might be increased melatonin synthesis, which could lead to better sleep quality and a more regulated circadian rhythm. However, if your sleep hygiene is already excellent, you likely won't notice a significant change.

Conversely, if your rhythm is heavily disrupted by factors like late-night caffeine or excessive screen time, the benefits might also be masked or minimized.

So I guess this just worked in the background and silently did it's job.

Well, there's a lot of confusions about Epi dosage, and I had to make a decision, which one to choose. Today was a first shot of this compund. I ordered 10mg kit, which was delivered today. So, reconstituted with 2ml of Hospira and 10u are pinned already. So my protocol is 500mcg/day for 20 days. Will see how it goes. If I have a concern, that protocol is wrong and 0.5mg is not enough, still have 90mg to give another option a try.

Yeah, I'm going to try doing the same when my kit arrives. Start low and see how it goes. I can always put more in, but I can't take it out. 🤣

Yeah, just a common sense. On the other hand, people who follows the low dosage protocol report it works...
