Where is your "Clean room"?

But seriously, I think a small desk in the bedroom is best for privacy.

You all make me feel like a little kid making mudpies in the sandbox. I just grab stuff out of my kitchen cabinet, wipe the vial top and my arm with an alcohol wipe, and inject. Sometimes I put my reader glasses on to make sure I draw up the right amount. Sometimes I even wash my hands.

I just use the clean Kitchen counter. Obviously making sure its all clean first which it always is as same place we prepare our food. More important to make sure you hands are clean after wiping everything down.

I love using my dining room. I have all of my supplies on the bottom shelf of the dining room cabinet hidden from view. I wipe everything down with alcohol and bring a vial/s from my kitchen freezer to the dining room table, wipe them down, and get to work.

Where do you reconstitute your research chemicals? Den, kitchen, bathroom(shudder), trailer out back? How sterile do you make/ keep it? Are your supplies in the same room ? I use a spare room that will soon house a guest for a month and am trying to figure out another option. Do share.

lol I live in an rv… it’s at my desk on a paper towel. I do wipe everything with an alcohol wipe though. But yeah not exactly got a lot of options.

Just getting started so I'm glad to have so many "great" suggestions!

Looks like I'm "getting it on" on the kitchen counter.

I'd considered wiping down a table outdoors where the UVC is free or even the outdoor grill after an autoclave clean, but I figure some bird would come by and poop on me or the wind would kick up.

It's clean, if the dog licks it clean, right?

Kitchen counter. I turn off my HVAC. Sterilize my counter. Then I use sterile drapes to drape my countertop and lay out my supplies after wiping them down with alcohol. I use aseptic technique to be best of my ability. I recon 90 day supply at a time. The sterile drapes are like $6 from med supply.

I reconstitute everything at the bathroom vanity (toilet in separate room). Once constituted, I'm in the kitchen. Wipe vial, wipe belly, jam it in and go about my day.
