Endo is one of the only things I remember from OB. Terrifying to think about and I'm sorry you went through it. Hope you recovered well.moonpies4misfits said:Seriously? There are countless reasons to have abdominal surgery that aren't cesarians and tummy tucksBut since you asked, I had extremely severe deep infiltrating endometriosis, have had dozens of cysts removed, many of which were larger than grapefruits, I've had a frozen pelvis twice, and I had a hysterectomy with bilateral oophorectomy where my uterus was completely fused to my colon. The endometriosis was covering basically every organ in my abdominopelvic cavity as well as being adhered to my peritoneum and infiltrated through my peritoneum into my abdominal wall.
I have 15 holes in my belly from 5 separate robotic surgeries. On top of that, there are a number of fascial adhesions between those scars which aren't visible.
Anywhere you can actually hit subcutaneous tissue is "fine". But, if you get an injection site reaction, you probably don't want to sit on itFonkymonky said:Is it even recommended to inject in the buttocks? In my head it seems like the least painful spot. Probably because I have the most fat thereI do wonder how to reach it without help though

How did you come to the conclusion that injecting in the arm wasn’t as effective as the other two sites?SmokeySquid said:I prefer the stomach as that seems to work the best for me. Thigh burned like hell and arm didn't seem to be as affective as the other two.

Belly. Plenty of real estate there. I don't think my butt would be a very comfortable place if something went wrong. I'd have to sit on the bruise.Fonkymonky said:I am very curious about this. I take my injections in the belly but my last one wasn’t a very nice experience so I was thinking to do it in the buttocks next week (haha I realise this may sound super wrong, or maybe not , English is not my mother language)
What are your experiences?

Alternate left/rite belly fat with Tirz and Insulin. 27guage needles don't bother me as I'm relatively pain tolerant cause I'm always hurtin and one little poke is a nothing burger. Have started using reusable peptide pen(V2) with 31g-5/16 needles that i can't even feel. I got a half bajillion of em cause I reuse the same needle over again(I know). Not a recommendation just how I do it, cause my risk tolerance is way up there. YMMVFonkymonky said:I am very curious about this. Only the most effective scientific measuring tool. My ass. Ok so serious answer, it’s been a while since I posted that and I am a lot more lean now and have moved to my “love handles” or what’s left of them as it’s a lot less painful to pin there. I think my subjective feeling on injection sites had to do with blood flow to that particular area. The stomach fat should be getting and has a lot more blood vessels in it vs my cold ass arm fat (at the time) and I think that slowed uptake a tad. Not really based on any hard data but I think that is what caused me to think that way. I noticed the same thing when I moved to my back flank (slower uptake) but I don’t have too many good spots to poke anymore so it is what it is. I also inject every night so my blood serum levels are quite high all the time so I don’t really notice the feeling of appetite suppression being stronger the next day anymore.PorcShanc said:How did you come to the conclusion that injecting in the arm wasn’t as effective as the other two sites?

I inject in my stomach for tirzepatide. But I shifted to my thigh for KLOW. The KLOW reaction at my stomach was too strong, it kept me awake all night.Fonkymonky said:I am very curious about this.
