What's the longest you've used a vial?

I've been using the same hospira since Jan 31, 2025. It's aaaalmost gone.

With that said, I could use a vial of tirz for 4+ months as long as it seems to be working.

I have to say that I am curious myself as I see big demand for T100 now and then and wonder what the heck size dose are these folks taking?
Many times those are “family sized” vials for folk w/2+ people in the house on peps.

I’ve used a pen for 18 weeks because it held 18 doses; use good aseptic technique and wash your hands plus keep your reconned peps in the fridge and you’re good.

that's the main reason I'm moving to pens when I finish using up my 22mg compounded bottles. Filtering into a pen cartridge means no air coming in.
This is a great idea, I have seen them around but never realized that’s a big bonus of them. Do you have any brand/model picked out?

I use a V1 from thepeppen for my klow, and have a second one set aside for my tirz when it's time to switch. I can't say I love that model, because it's kind of hard to push the plunger. I'd look for an auto inject one, but they reportedly aren't strong enough to work well with most sterile carts, and I haven't done the research on all of that.

That's not a real big deal for me for tirz, though, since it's only once a week and in a place that's easy to get to; as opposed to the klow, that's daily and on the sides or butt.

Just reconstituted R50 in a pen yesterday and I haven't had Reta for months so started both the wife and myself on a 2.5mg starter dose... will keep it in the fridge and hope we can use it in around 6 weeks as we up our doses.

Made a pen with 30mg reta yesterday. Starting at 2mg/6 days and ramping slower :

4x2mg, 4x3mg, 2x4mg and 2mg as wiggle room.

So 60 days.

I have a few of most brands. Savvios- nice, can get spendy. Novos- need adaptors. Good pens, but the adaptor is a pain. V1-v2-v3- basic pens. Seem to work well, V1s are favored by more users. All Star- mine came apart mid pin. Stopped using it. A friend has an all star pro that did the same. The “bird pen” auto pen- I like these a lot. Gansulin autopens- love these too. Luxuras- my current favorite. Can be gotten domestically for $50-60 each; there are 2 vendors on Ali selling them for $30-40 right now. Then there are a few no name pens- one set of primary colored ones- functional, inexpensive. The “white plastic pen” sold on underground, they’re is a black and yellow pen sold by Molecular Mayhem- all solid choices.

I think it might be worth pointing out in here, for any newbies, that the general safe advice is to use your reconstituted GLP1 peptides within 4 weeks of reconstitution - and keep refrigerated. The legit pens you get can last a month outside the fridge and longer in, but they are filled with all sorts of preservatives outside of standard bac water.

I personally go above the 4 week limit (as noted above) and anecdotally I think I've always still been good when it comes to quality (i.e. it still works), but I've no idea if there's been any heightened risks of bacteria infection or I've just got lucky with my immune system just dealing with bacteria as someone who is relatively healthy. I am careful with wiping my vials and needles with alcohol wipes every dose too.

I'm not meaning to discourage anyone from going over a month (as I do do it myself) just trying to temper the conversation a bit for those newbies who might think there is zero risk - you probably still need to take hygiene precautions when storing and using longer term.

sir, we're all taking health risks here to save a few bucks by ordering grey, lmao.

I'm totally comfortable with at least three months (fridge, alcohol swabbing) and also freezing reconnned vials with wild abandon.

BUT I want to add that fungal contamination is also a deadly possibility and (I think) much harder to fight off than most bacterial infections. We live in a world of danger.

This is an unfortunate take.

I'm saving thousands of dollars just in the meds alone. And it's the only way I could afford it.

Then, as a result of that affordability, I am saving much more money long term by not developing diabetes or the dozens of other maladies that come with being so obese.

My physical, mental and emotional health are so much better, too, which are hard to put a price on. Saving money on food and alcohol, too.

In my opinion, at this point the bigger health risk is name brand meds/cost or doing nothing.

Plus there is filtering, which should remove bacteria and fungal spores. Other than peptide degradation, I don't see any reason not to continue using it until it's gone.

This. It really is amazing the improvements in other areas, that is the reason why I went grey and stockpiled; it has become such an important help, I never want to have to go without it.

I just make sure I buy kits where the vials will be used in 4 weeks at most. I could save $30 by buying 100mg ghk-cu instead of 50mg, but that would mean needing to use a vial for 50 days, not 25, piercing the vial twice as many times. For the sake of $30, I'll take the slightly less risky 25 days instead.

I pin 6mg tirz every 3 days, so a 30mg vial is done in 15 days. I could buy 60mg, but 30mg is often on promo prices and really, I'm only paying like 35c per mg so is it really worth the added risk of double the amount of pins/days when we are talking pennies difference in price?

Can I ask why the adaptor is a pain? Is it purely just because you have to have an extra bit of kit to make them work or do they usually cause problems like getting stuck etc?

Currently trying to decide what pen I want to use and I cant decide if its better to buy a proper branded one or go for one of the cheaper options.
