I have a question about using the spacer: do you keep it in the pen the whole time or do you just put it in for that last injection? I saw some spacers on a website but they were too expensive with shipping (like they couldn't just be put into a stamped envelope ). So I took one my daughter's little beads and put it in the pen and I got out almost every drop. I was amazed. The beads are not as wide as the cartridge though so it's a less than elegant solution.

My spacers aren’t as wide as my cartridge either - helps them move better than if flush, so of the bead works, that’s great!

I put the spacer in after a few pins when there’s a little more space for it and then keep it in until it’s done.
