What Percentage of Body Weight Have You Lost?

Keeping it off after stopping on need on going use?
We'll be researching that soon enough. Extensive anecdotal reports strongly suggest that VAT will return without ongoing use.

RS has a family history of cardiovascular disease and complications.

Also a familial history of aberrant cholesterol issues (HDL too low and LDL too high despite very healthy diet and exercise). Current labwork unfortunately reflects this anomaly in RS. Excess VAT increases risk of both.

Given these factors, we are considering and accepting that - exactly like a diabetic will always be on insulin - RS may very well be cycling tesa and tirz - as well as a potential statin if the new PCP has her way - for the forseeable (and remaining) future.

It's slightly less about weight and body comp than it is for overall health and prominent risk factors for my RS.

Congrats on the weight loss. I’m finding my belly is the last to go. Im just keeping going and sticking to calories and hoping it’ll eventually go.
In the end I stopped using the scale as I guide. Yeah, belly fat is typically the last to go. I just kept losing until I could live with the amount of fat I saw. This ended up being over 10lbs more than what I thought my ideal weight would be.

I’m trying to use a tape measure but can’t stop myself getting on the scale. So frustrating I wish I could throw them out lol

@44 %. From 250 to 138. On Tirz, Sema and Cagri. Used to take Teso but stopped 3 months ago. Bulk was lost at a year the rest over the 2nd year. Now in maintenance.

~23% of weight (not fat specific) lost over 10 months on Tirz with dose mostly at 2.5mg but I did bump it up for a month or two to 3-3.5mg. I am now maintaining mostly and will (eventually) switch to building back muscle that has been lost.
I’m interested in following a similar protocol. Are you able to tell me how quickly it took to lose weight during the first couple months (lbs per month ish)? Is there kind of a warm up period so-to-speak before weight loss occurs?

Managed around 11% on semaglutide in 8 months. Had to give up on it due to how bad it messed with my stomach. Took a few months off and just started on tirzepitide. Also added the gym for consistent effort and to maintain muscle mass.

This is what I do, and it works well. No side effects and its stable. Others have said it didnt work as well for them. I keep checking a GLP plotter that's online, and it shows large distinct peaks and valleys on the once a week dosage schedule, and a higher over all shape with much smaller peaks and valleys for the more frequent dosing, even at lower doses, since they build up.

How your body reacts though is the question.

I have lost 10+% of body weight since May, staying at low doses..Others following higher doses have lost much more. That is on track with studies.. But at my age, I want to keep as much muscle and bone as I can, so I am intentionally going slow.
I am at 12.5% down (24lbs.).at 5 mo.s Tirz 3.375 + Reta 1.5 (decimals because I dose much smaller amounts more often)

Below I am charting my progress over a chart of Tirze weightloss I found somewhere. If I did this correctly, My loss is on par with the 15mg dose group, though I am doing 3.4 + 1.5 Reta. Not nearly as much as many people on here, but surprising to me.

June 2022 starting weight: 286lbs

last shot of tirz July 2023: 189lbs

=34% body weight lost

Got pregnant and fucked it all up postpartum so starting over this time on reta

April 2025: 260lbs

Current: 220lbs

So currently down this round 15.5%

Doing the monthly avg it’s pretty close:

Tirz: ~7.5% per month

Reta: ~6.8% per month

BUT I definitely used the tirz to lose as much weight as possible, as quickly as possible, and I know I lost a ton of muscle mass the first time around that I have not lost this time. So I count that as an additional bonus for Reta although the scale doesn’t show it.

Tons of great results!

I've gone from 270 to 200, so 26%. Took about 7.5 months is a 1000 calorie a day deficit. I never went above 6mg a week of Tirz.

Took a couple months off too add some more muscle. Continued eating good, home cooked food, but in a 300 to 400 a day calorie surplus. Went up to 215, now im on a small cut. 400 calorie a deficit and im right at 200lb with visable abs and veins showing in my arms and shoulders.

I lift heavy 4 days a week and do fasted zone 2 cardio 5 days a week for 30 minutes a day.

50 year old male, on trt too. The pic in my avatar is me from a week ago.

My overall goal is to get to 10-12 percent body fat and stay there. I'll continue to us Tirz as needed.

A little over 27% starting weight lost over a year. First 4 months running my willpower into the ground. Then started Tirz, following a 4 week titration up through doses. Was paying retail til fairly recently and the UK price hikes made me reassess my options and I’m so very glad it did. What I would have spent on the next order for a month has now set me up for well over a year to come.

I lost 26% in about 9-ish months. I now go up and down the same 3 pounds, seems related to my monthly cycle.

Maintence is still a struggle for me, but in a good way. In 5 months of maintenance I have inadvertantly lost an additional 4lbs. That puts me down a total of 115lbs, or 47% of my initial body weight. My BMI is now 20.5. I am cutting back on the dose and trying to eat more calories. Needing to eat more is not a problem that I have ever experienced in my adult life.

25% since starting tirz/GLP-1. 60% total loss from my highest weight. Looks like a lot of us are matching or exceeding clinical trial results!

21% since the end of June this year.

All on Tirz, first four weeks at 2.5mg and the rest at 5mg. Started using grey Tirz 2 weeks ago!

I have 20lbs left until I reach my goal weight.
