What is the strongest concentration that is ok for a vial of Tirzepatide?

I thought I wouldn’t like injecting a large number of units, but with the guesswork involved in averaging what we think is the pep content of a vial, I’d prefer to have more BAC (lower concentration) and more units so that being unit or two off poses a significantly less difference in mg than when using less BAC/higher concentration/fewer units.

I’m also using 40-ish units, which I thought would bother me, but it doesn’t at all.
Good point. I don't think a vial will take more than 2ml of bac, at 1.5 my vials look pretty filled.

He's my cat's cat. I got him because my actual cat needs to cuddle for hours and hours a day or he's a wreck, so I got him his own cat so I could have personal space. This was one of the rare moments where my cat's cat was NOT being petted and loved, and OH the displeasure!
I have one of those needy boys. He's teetering on turning 20, and has the spirit and look of a seven year old cat. I've had him since he was a baby.

He screams at me while I'm in meetings, so I'll be forced to pick him up. My colleagues expect him every call. lol

Absolutely not. I reject your offering. Go to your room, you need to think about what you did.
Did I mention how funny you are. Yes several months ago.... even as my wife dozes off mumbling you're probably randomly interacting with some random person on ur peptide site....

I just shared some of your work with my own work-wife the other day.

No I get that and probably should consider it. I do the math in my head and estimate. Then I forget my calculations and how much bac I added. Started putting tape and sharpie labels on my vials.
Yeah, me too. Then I saw the discussion over on Discord in MIX's about label makers ...went and bought a cheapy from Amazon. 😎 😉

I like it. I can scan it ( forget what the hell you call those barcode thingies?) and see the Janoshik COA, too. I put the BAC amount used and the units to use for whatever mg I wanted on it.

Perfect!

Since there was no mention of overfill I didn't put that into my calculations. Not every batch has a significant amount of overfill and some are even underfilled.

edited to add:

If the vial is actually 65mg than 17 units is actually 10.9mg. Not that big of a deal really. But if she wants to get as close to 10mg as possible then she should inject 15 units instead.
Not that big of a deal to you...but it could be for them. It's better to educate them about the over/underfill and let them see how their body reacts to it, rather than just say, naw you're good. I wouldn't do any calculations unless I saw the COA.

That's my whole point about this. You and others may not have a reaction to an extra milligram or three, but someone else could get ill from it, or think it's not working. Not trying to berate you or anyone, but educate them and let them decide.

I'd personally feel like ~60mg/mL is too high of a concentration for me to get the accuracy I want. So far I've done all my reconstitutions at 15mg/mL, taking into account the average of the measurements from the Janoshik report. I also label my vial with the concentration so I don't forget. I think that's especially important if you're varying your concentrations a lot.

I’m trying to help my friend out, but FFS my brain aint brainin’ today.

She has been on 10mg of Zepbound. She is a newbie greyzoner now. She would rather not have to inject a large dose each time, which I get. I got her pushed toward filtering, and sterile new vials.

Anyway what concentration is considered a danger zone for Tirz? 40mg/ml? 60mg/mL?

I think she is considering two 30mg vials with 1ml of BAC total. That would put her at 60mg/mL in her new vial. I’ve only gone as high as 30mg/mL. I even had a dose calculator scream at me when I fat-fingered and accidentally setting it higher than 30mg/mL.

My head is spinning. Help a hound out?
Is the question about danger zone? Dying? ISR? Precipitates? or injecting large doses? Eli L. doses (5.0mg-15mg) are in 0.5ml. Yes, lots of liquid. 60mg/ml would be 10mg in .17ml. Not much liquid but is fine if you do not get isr's. How much sugar can you add to your coffee before it does not mix? A lot. If you see no precipitate/unmixed white powder, IMO, it should be fine. I always use lots of bac to avoid isr's and because I try to use my 30ml of bac is less than 60 days. You do not have to inject once a week. You can split the dose over 3-4 days. I inject every 6 days.

Good info. Last night I sent her a text to add one more ml to her vial.

I appreciate the input from everyone. It was a rough on the brain day, so I needed the assistance.

CMMC and FedRamp hardening had me all wiped out!

Find me a vendor that has exactly 60.00mg in the vial every time and I'll buy from them every day of the week. But until then, you need to deal with overfill and it won't just be "17 units".

I think @TooBigtoFail is advocating for a less concentrated dose. The 17 units he mentions would be the draw required for a 10mg dose from a 60mg vial reconned with 1ml BAC.

I think you're both on the same page.

Great thread ty for all the info! While id love to have a 30mg concentration with over or underbelly in the vials i should probably leave it at 20mg just to be on the safer side ty

The compounded tirz I got from Brello Health was 20 mg/mL.

The max by Eli Lilly looks like 30 mg/mL:

https://www.lilly.com/lillydirect/medicines/zepbound

Incidentally, Google Gemini says over 3 liters (3,000 mL or 100 30-mL vials) of BAC would be required for a toxic dose of benzyl alcohol. And it would be impossible to administer that much BAC anyway.
