What dose of reta are you at?

Currently at 1.5mg every Thursday and feeling it hard. Was worried I would need a higher dose to keep up, but NOPE its waaaay strong there

3 months in.

Week one took .5mg and didn’t feel anything so injected another ‘5mg on day 4 and so began my biweekly protocol.

By end of week one going into week two I had frequent urges to have a bm almost like I drank too much coffee but it subsided after a week.

Titrated to 2mg split dose week 3 and 3mg week 4. Likely moved up too quick because I didn’t want to eat at all. Stayed there for another couple of weeks until the evening good noise returned and moved to 4mg. Spent most of month 2 at 4mg and titrated up to 6mg in month 3.

Month 3 ( last month) I noticed the anendonia and was very fatigued. Spent most of the month going to bed early. I’m sure the fatigue was also related to cutting back drinking to almost nothing and ramping up to 5x week in the gym. Apparently NAC can cause anendonia too so cut that out.

Heading into month 4 now and just moved up to 8mg. Fatigue is generally better and a anedonia has lessened. Down about 22lbs from 234 to 212.

Appreciate it. Thanks for sharing your experience.

DOES anyone know if there's a way to sort of 'hack' the Lilly mounjaro autopens? So that I can somehow get the liquid out into a vial and then be able to dole it out in lesser doses?

I think you could just inject into a sterile vial. Obviously it wouldn't include the level of preservatives that are in a multidose vial so it just depends on your risk tolerance. I do know of many that are splitting Zepbound vials/pens and haven't heard of any issues though and some people do just dilute their peps with sterile injection water without alcohol.

I'm at 5 mg every 6 days. Very happy at this dose. I get hungry if I haven't eaten but I'm satisfied with my meals and have very few cravings for foods I shouldn't have.

I stopped tirz. Too much fatigue and too much appetite suppression to the point of not even wanting to look at food or enjoy my meals.

I started my Reta at 0.5mg weekly early December of last year and titrated up slowly, now I'm at 4mg but split 2mg on Sun AM & 2mg on Wed on PM. When I did 4mg once a week, I had a terrible nausea, so I went back down to 3mg for a few weeks, and tried the split 4mg which works better for me. So far I've lost 15lbs and I actually prefer the conservative weight loss. I'm also stacking it with AOD9604.

Started Week #6 - my 2nd week at 6mg.

My energy today was through the roof by comparison to previous weeks.

It's still early at this dose, but I plan to hold here until I see a reason to change. My avg. loss per week reached a high now of -1.4lbs (much improved from my previous -0.8 lbs / wk), and my total weight lost is now -7.4 lbs.

I normally full-rest on weekends, but I felt so damn good today that I added in some more rowing. I'm seeing week-over-week improvements with my more intense workouts - which I think is due to me being able to breathe more freely, plus slight gains in strength. What used to feel like "pure hell" (20mins of rowing) is starting to feel almost fun and casual. So I'm thinking of moving to 6 days of rowing per week (up from 5), along with the 3 days of weights.

Feels real good, man.

I´m taking Reta 2 months now and take 3.3mg/5 days currently.

Started with 1.0mg/6 days and increased every 2-3 weeks.

Lost 22lbs (10kg) and my goal ist to loose another 11lbs (5kg).

I'm currently planning to lower the dose of Reta and add Tirz.

How about you?
This post really interested me because I did the reverse... got up to 7.5mg Tirz then added 1mg Reta as im incapacitated currently with my back issues and wanted more fat loss. Im currently on 5mg Tirz and 3mg Reta and doing well. My big question to more experienced RS's is: if you switch completely from one to the other, if you later switch back, does it work as before because you haven't stopped GLP-1, or not as effective as if you stopped all together? I hope that makes sense.

wk 1-4 : 1mg

wk 5-8 : 2mg

wk 9-12 : 3mg

wk 13-16 : 4mg

wk 17-20 : 5mg

wk 21 - 22 : 6mg - broke my 4wk rule for the first time

wk 23 : 8mg (6mg + 2mg) - going rogue. go big or go home

Total : 80mg of reta over a course of 23 weeks

Weight loss : zero

Weight gain : zero

I will be switching to cagri soon as the food noise on high dose reta has taken over my life.

Aren't people worried about going to the higher doses? Cuz where is there to go from there? It seems like a lot of people are comfortable going to the "max" of 12 mg weekly pretty quickly.

I'm at 8mg, and not sure I'll need 12mg. 10mg would be next if needed. This has taken 5-1/2 months to get there.

Agreed. I've been at 4mg (split to 2mg/2mg) for a couple of months now and my body won't let me go higher (yet) so I'm sticking around until my body is ready. I'm doing it low and slow, started from 0.5mg since December of last year.

ive been at 2.5 on and off as i couldn't get filters so i had to stop reconning for a bit. If i was more consistent I hope I could see some results; but my plan is to increase every 2-4 weeks until i see results even if i need to go to 15 or above. I'm an adult I can understand consequences - but I've been stuck at a certain weight plateau for 2 years even on tirz and can't break through no matter what/diet/plan/anything. There was a study that stated that 100% of clinical trial partcipants had weight loss on reta it just depended on which dose and some were higher. So im looking forward to starting up again next week and just moving higher until the fat comes off or i'm 99% reta by volume lmaooooo

Gosh that sucks.

I’ve taken 245mg of Reta and have lost .2lb/mg of Reta taken, or 4.9mg/lb lost in 20 weeks (50lb)

I started on Tirz for nearly a month, used 12.5mg during that time to lose .8lb/mg or 1.25mg/lb.

12mg is assuredly not the actual max.

At 7mg right now. Been on since Feb. I def feel a drop off in hunger suppression opposed to when I initially started, even at 6mg dose there is still food noise. Lost around 30 lbs though, but now am at a place where weight is much more difficult to drop. Will keep ramping up slowly to the 8-10mg range. Hoping the glucagon and GIP are still firing away since the glp-1 suppression is weak.

1mg every 4 days, just took my 3rd

Seems to allow me to still enjoy food, still get hungry or know I should eat, zero sides so far except maybe sensitive skin here and there

By the last day in starting to feel real hunger again and then I just redose and all is well .

Lost about 8-10lb in 8 days which is a little fast but as everyone says “it’s just water weight”

Not a little fast, a lot fast.

I agree, though from scanning the forums it seems a lot of people drop a ton the first few weeks.

Have been using chronometer to have a rough idea of my nutrient intake

Went from 224ish to 214ish

have been doing light but long jogs every other day and strength training about as much

To top it off, feeling amazing

Nah it's fine. I have maybe about 5-7 lbs to lose - just some stubborn aging weight I've gained over the years. I initially thought I lost a few pounds but weighed myself at the gym the other day and the scale did not budge at all.

Everyone in my family has very strong insulin resistance and a few have died from complications from diabetes. So I kind of knew going in this wouldn't really work as well for me.

Congratulations on the HUGE weight loss! Glad reta is saving lives.
