What dose of reta are you at?

I started at 2mg for my first 4 weeks. Today I started my 5th week and upped it to 3mg. My first 2 weeks I had very bad side effects ( insomnia, no appetite, constipation) with my starting dose of 2mg. The last 2 weeks I felt the food noise coming back mid week so I decided to up it 1 mg in hopes it helps without all the side effects I started with

So I started my Reta journey on February 27th so its only been a bit over a week for me. I started with 1mg but it seems 1mg/ twice a week is best for me. Doesnt COMPLETELY destroy my food noise but its more than enough so far. Also, I got to make 5.5mg last until my next shipment lol.

started end of november with 0.5mg. every two weeks i titrated up.

1mg-2mg-3mg-4mg for a long time over 5 weeks. two weeks ago i go up to 5mg.

in the 2nd week of my reta journey i added 4 days after the reta inject, low dose of sema.

feeling very good right now. still have to loose 15kilos

37 days in and at 2mg, lost a lot of weight. Eating and drinking is a little difficult, but I’m making it work. Reta really does change your life, because bye bye binge eating disorder 🙂

Started 5mg (10th pin total) this morning and weighed myself for kicks at 5AM. Down 25lbs in 10 weeks. Tuesday is my normal weigh in. Average 2.5lbs/week.

I know everyone is different but I read a lot of posts where people start at low doses and don't need to titrate up that high of a dose.

I'm curious as to if people go all the way up to 12mg like in the clinical trials, if if they have reaped most benefits at lower doses.

So my question is:

How long have you been taking Reta for?

Where along are you in your journey?

What is your current dosage?
I'm on my 5th week and hit 3mg this week. I'm going up each week .5 mg until 4mg. I would titrate more slowly but I have so many foot and knee issues I need to drop 40 lbs as fast as possible. I'm 55, 5'11 278 lbs, dropped 8 lbs the first week from appetite suppression. I have metabolic adaptation from keto, fasting and strict dieting for many years. 3 weeks under 1000 calories doesn't move the scale. I've fasted 3 days multiple times a month on carnivore with intermittent fasting under 1200 calories a day... Nothing. So will it surprise me if I have to throw the kitchen sink at this thing? Btw I'm trying to hit 150g protein and resistance train to failure several times a week. I've got a lot of muscle under there I'm looking forward to actually seeing it someday.

8 mg in month 5. I'm still losing.
Welp, I weighed under 200 lbs today for the first time since my Senior year in highschool, in 1976. Down 62 lbs, and I've been on 10 mg the past 6 weeks, for a total of 6.5 months on Reta. I may try for another 10 lbs to get rid of these stubborn areas, like under my arms and pooch. Or I may just be stuck with it my age. Now I'm off to buy some summer shorts now, waist size 32". 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Keep going everyone!!

Wow, Congratulations!!! Enjoy those new shorts & new size!! 🙂

This is my first time taking a GLP. I lost 55lbs on my own but I hit a plateau. On 1/5/26 when I started reta weekly, I was at 0.5mg. Slowly worked my way up and this week I pinned 3.75mg. The last few weeks I have noticed my appetite isn't as controlled as it was previously, but I am still losing 1-2lbs per week. The only side effects I ever had was the sulfur stomach, slight constipation and extreme exhaustion but that's all passed now. The other day I had that sunburn effect in a couple of spots on my body but it only lasted for a day and it wasn't that bad. I am going to see if higher doses help but I am thinking of adding tirz but IDK, maybe it's a good thing still having an appetite. I wanna make sure I get enough protein in so not to lose too much muscle.

Over the course of a year I got up to 15mg Tirz. Switched to Reta about 8 months ago.. just started 10mg this past week. I have finally started losing again after being stalled since April of 2025. My body just didn't want to go under 160 (5'3" F) but Reta and 1mg of Cagri has changed things for me.

I've been using reta for going on almost 6 months now. Started at 2mg per week and worked great for the goals I was after as I eventually titrated up to 10mg and then 12mg per week.

Any appetite suppression, which had been pretty mild all along but was just right for me, disappeared the past few weeks, so I just tried 15mg this week, which seems to have done the trick for now. I never really had any negative side effects from it throughout so I felt comfortable giving that a try, and will probably hang out there for another few week, while I decide my next move. I love reta and it's been awesome for me, but after this, I think it will be time to move on to something else. Great thread!

I started on 2mg 2/12/25 and currently doing 8mg. Weight loss has been slow but non scale results are fat loss, fasting blood sugar is down to non diabetic range and my blood pressure is in the optimal range. As a 71 year old type 2 diabetic I am more than happy with those wins.

I have 30mg vials of reta, put 1ml of BAC in it, and draw 50 units (0.5ml) using an insulin syringe.
OK, same as I'm going to do with the 40-60 vials I have in smaller doses. I just didn't figure a dose that high on the calculator. I was just curious. Thanks

6th month on GLP -1, starting weight 85 kg, current weight 55kg. This is the lowest weight I have ever had but I do like the way I feel right now except of some saggy skin. Now it's my second month on maintenance. The highest dose I hit was 5mg TR, tried to lower on maintenance, so sometimes went down back to 2.5 mg. The last week pinned Reta 2.5 with absolutely no effect except of the increased heat rate and disturbed sleep. Because of increasing food noise added 2.5 TR three days later and it also hasn't helped a lot in terms of the food noise. Was a bit shocked. Need to survive till Tuesday morning and see what to do next - to pin 5 mg TR as before or try to increase Reta and see how it goes 🤔.

I’ve titrated off of Sema and phased in Reta over the past few weeks but not feeling its effects yet. Currently I’ve pinned 1mg Reta per week for two weeks, and then 2 mg per week for four weeks.

Hopefully I’ll receive my first gray order this week of Retatrutide and Cagrilintide and I’m trying to decide next dosage. Leaning towards keep pinning on Thursdays only as that’s what I’ve been doing all along, and try 3 mg Retatrutide and 0.5 mg Cagrilintide.

Since Cagri has a long half life I’ll try and stick with this dose for a few weeks before reevaluating.
