What do you think you spend per month on peptides?

different compounds, it is the molecular weight each peptide is different, simply apples to oranges

1 mg = 3 IU

1 IU = 0.33

I know better than to stand in the way of unshakeable confidence.

The relationship between mgs and IUs is compound dependent. Example -- Vit A - 1mg = 3333 IUs. Vit E - 1mg = 1.1 to 1.5 IUs

Nope,

1 mg = 3 IU

1 IU = 0.33 mg

The only that I know of that has that ratio is HGH

Same my label says R20

We’re on a GLP forum where users use orange capped insulin syringes to administer doses of the various peptides. It is a safe assumption that he’s talking about 15 insulin units (iu) = 10mg of Retatrutide.

S ince it’s insulin units, iu, “units”, 100 units is equal to 1mL/1cc. This became the US standard in 1972-1973 when Eli Lilly released U100 insulin which became the standard for humans in an effort to reduce dosing errors that had fatal results.

This safe assumption is also supported by the fact that there’s no International Unit (iu) for Retatrutide, it’s dosed by weight in mg.

It is unreasonable to assume Airborne was labeling his 20mg vial of Retatrutide 15iu=10mg to mean anything aside from .15ml of solution from the vial contains 10mg of Retatrutide.

That lead me to realizing that’s a 66.66mg/ml concentration, the highest I’ve seen. The realization prompted my surprised questioning of it to confirm there wasn’t a typo.

@woundcarping thank you for the background on IU. Not something I ever bothered to look up and am glad to have the information now.

In 3 years have spent @ 5 K. More $/ mg in the beginning and less $/ mg now. I have @ 3 years hoarded now though. I still get FOMO. Just felt it today.🌸
Also at 5K spending over a year and a half on peptides, supplies and a lab freezer. I figure that is about what 4 months of prescription Tirz would cost and I would have nothing left over but empty syringes. Still see talk of assorted peptides so they go in the freezer in case I get interested in trying them. Hopefully done spending money on the hoard.

Airbourne daddy's math 10 mg =15 iu
Specific to me.... i know if i add 60 units (.6cc) to a 20mg vial of reta... then 30 units is my 10mg dose. If i add 30 units of bac to 20mg reta then 15 units is 10mg. I do both.

Don’t muddy the waters by using “iu” (international units, a measure of weight) and “units” (insulin syringe markings, a measure of volume) like they’re interchangeable. They are NOT.

In the gray world, “iu” is almost always only referring to hgh dosing. “Units” refers to our pinning measurements.

Someone could get hurt here if you don’t keep the two concepts separated.

(And iu to mg conversions are compound specific, as sagely pointed out earlier in this thread.)

Too much lol!

I am soon reaching that point where I have most of what I need for the next 6 months and now my monthly costs should be solely consumables. Been about $1-2k a month since August when I started.

I hope this isn't a violation of some sort of etiquette and I apologize if it is but I'm wondering what members estimate they spend per month on peptides. For me, that's one of the sticking points in trying combos is the cost to try.
I have spent a total of roughly $2000 on peptides since discovering the grey market in July of 2025, including a kit of tirz for my husband. I have no plans for any additional purchases for at least another 4-5 months. So lets just call it about $162 a month. If we exclude the tirz since that was not for me .. the amount drops to $142 a month

My grey market purchases have replaced $500 for my wegovy and $100 for my husband's ozempic co-pay.

My purchases:

10mg kit of sema $190

80mg kit of KLOW $425

12mg kit of reta $295

10mg kit of Ipamorlin $130

24mg kit of reta $300

60mg kit of tirz $300

500mg kit of NAD+ $145

2 vials of Mots-C 10mg $36

2 vials of Epitalon 10mg $34

2 vials of SS-31 $80

It should be noted that these aren't even the best prices that the grey market has to offer.

That variable was not included earlier in the thread. So not to you but my point stands in the conversion.

My point exactly,

I'm actually struggling with this a bit! How much do I want to have? Do I just snap up the cheap tirz kits at a good price and stash them indefinitely? What do you all do? Currently waffling on a T60 purchase. Great price but I have several years' worth already. I'm a person who has gained and lost enormous amounts of weight several times throughout life, and have also struggled with alcohol use. Tirz is a miracle and I think I will probably want to be on it long term, but it's so hard to say. Any advice is welcome.

My almost-nine-years-max-dose tirz stash cost $2549 over the course of a couple of months. It was

3 kits of T30

3 more kits of T30

3 kits of T40

3 kits of T50

3 kits of T60

It was not necessary to buy that much; especially because reta exists and I am slowly collecting a ten-years-max-dose of THAT too. But the fact that I DID buy that much means that more or less for the rest of my life, I do not have to care in a way that directly impacts me WHAT happens with regulations on Tirzepatide (since the patent will likely expire by the time I get through my stash). I paid $2500 to have guaranteed Tirzepatide with no stress or expense every week of my life until I am...around fifty-eight years old, if I move from 8 mg to 10 at any point, and sixty-one if I stay at 8. The relief and joy and safety that represents to me is HUGE.

On what? That's 6-12 THOUSAND dollars. Fuck.

Well...

I first wanted a stockpile of reta of a few years and then I got into other peps when I did more research.

I have a good supply of: (including reta)

Klow80

Nad

Motsc

5amino

Epitalon

And then some of:

Tesamorelin

Ipamorelin

Kpv

Ss31

Pinealon

Cjc

Thymosin alpha 1

Thymulin

May be missing a few plus that amount is including consumables and storage containers.

Do you have a favorite among the non-GLP peptides?

That's where I stand as well.

It'd be nice if syringes, alcohol wipes, and bac were as stable long term as lyophilized vials in the freezer.

My favorites have been Klow80, NAD, epitalon, thymosin alpha 1 and thymulin.

Klow80 is a lifesaver for pulled muscles from the gym and its a nice plus having the ghk. NAD is great for energy in the gym and just all around on pin days. Thymosin alpha and thymulin have saved me from illness this flu season. Epitalon has done wonders to my circadian rhythm (I will also mention that ipamorelin has aided in this too)

The others are taken based on goals or portocols I want for the next few weeks and months or when I'm off-cycling something else.

Thanks so much for your response. I went ahead and bought that T60 kit after coming to that same conclusion. I'm buying another entire year of meds for the less than half of what I would have had to pay Lily. I think I will continue as I have been, snapping up kits here and there at great prices and building up my safety net.

What y'all think? The gray labels same in from CN today.... And I didn't end up needing to reconstitute today, so I reprinted the labels on gray. They really don't look too gray, but I think I like better than the hologram. 😏
