I wish I had that problem. I have asked my son if he is interested - 23 yo Autism, plays video games and does not do a lot else, and obese but not extremely so, and both he and his boyfriend even more so could benefit from GLP's, but won't even think about it.
I understand the gamer part of that equation!! We had that struggle, but he is def finding more balance. I think gaming is a true addiction (like food, alcohol, gambling) and I have seen GLPs first hand impact many people's addictive habits. I wonder if it would translate to gaming? prob not but I do think it helps with the dopamine/reward system. Hang in there- I know it's hard to see your kid stuck, and especially hard when there is an additional circumstance. {{hugs}}

Why are you stressed out about it? I'm in "adult kid" age range and everybody my age seems to be on peptides. I don't think your kids will think it's weird or embarrassing or anything.
not that I am on or interested in peptides, but how I am getting them. My one daughter got mad when I mentioned peptides; she has very strong opinions on "uncertain/unproven" things though, so I understand her hesitation.

This. I know people who sell in gyms, most aren't real concerned with the quality and then charge $2-300 for a $30 vial.

I have been stressed about my adult kids finding out about my gray secret and havent told them a thing about what im doing, going as far as making labels that will pass the snoopy kid test. I did talk to my son about Peptides and ask him if any of his friends (gym bros) are using. And he said, yeah, def.. and I was like, yeah, im curious about some of them, yada yada.. and he said, yeah, a guy at gym was asking me if I wanna buy reta.. So, im like, Nooooooooo, I dont want him to take random gym bro reta with who knows what purity or Bac water! So, I was like, would you actually wanna use Reta? He's working on improving diet/exercise, and actively losing weight. He said, I mean, yeah, maybe?

I think I will just let it slide for now, but do I tell him, if u want reta, I will get it for you? Like, I know what Id get would be CLEAN at least . He'd look at me like I was insane 🤷‍♀️
Fellow adult kid, but was not kept in the dark. My dad told me about the Peps and GLPs and I said no at first. Did my own research landed here and other places reading and learning. Went back said yes haven’t looked back! 30lbs down, we split testing costs for our supply and 3rd party testing. Been a great experience and fun experience. I bought him a Niimbot and our new thing has been making fun labels 😅

"hey, if you decide you do want to get on reta, please promise you'll give me the chance to talk with you about what I know about testing, sources, and how to gauge relative risk in that arena.
I was soooo dreading all the directions this kind of conversation could go with my oldest daughter and her fiancé. They live a ways away from me but I like to visit 1-2 times a year...She is ok, but he has gained a bunch and is maybe, 275-300 now?...So after I told them what I was doing, my daughter kept calling it my 'ozempic' diet....

Well, come to find out the fiancé had started tirz a few weeks prior to us talking about it. He got it from a local health spa compounder friend, and they "didn't want to tell me!"...lol After that, I may or may not have sent them a package (reconned) so they didn't have to pay those kind of prices, as they were already pinning....I am visiting them in a couple of weeks and started sending them all the reconning, filtering supplies I can think of . We will have a class on how simple and inexpensive GLPs can be (as in free from dad) and will make sure they are set for as long as they find them useful... 👍

....oh, and about testing. I can be a little more adventurous with peps, but with the tirz I may or may not have sent them, I bought 16 kits of T30 and had it Janoshek tested for I/M/P and endos because I figured I would have the 'talk' with them and wanted to have all bases covered...👍

SIXTEEN KITS!! Wow! I suppose that is a good way to do it if you are having it all tested. I think id max at 3. LOL

Group buys pumpkin. I usually buy 4 max at a time, but have I 8 kits incoming today, same GB. R30 and R60, all tested including endo. All good results, except the R60 is 5mg short. I and others have or are being refunded $15/kit, so $60 being refunded.

Do it, do it for the children... 😎

...and just to make sure I don't run out anytime soon, I have 4 kits of T60 ordered that will show up in a couple four months... 😳

No lie, that Lobster R30 just shipped after the buy closed 13 weeks ago, and I had ordered 15 weeks. Honestly, mainly Lobsters fault and Janoshik had a major back up.

My adult kids totally know I'm buying grey drugs from China - I'm actually quite pleased with myself for doing so and have blabbed to everyone. My one kid wanted to try some reta to drop 20lbs and then he quit after he met his goal and seems happy with that. I'm happy to share with them. On the other hand, like half's kid, my other older kid who absolutely needs some weight loss help refuses to even talk about it - he's a hard no despite seeing success in a lot of people in our inner circle. Contrary little prick.

But to OP, just tell the truth, they're not the boss of you.

I'm coming to your house when the peptidepocalypse hits.

This little bit is nothing really. I likely have enough, maybe. I had to add another kit of ZYH R60 to one of the other GB.

After about 7 months, many convos, and lots of gentle prodding I finally got my mom to try it 8 days ago. She agreed to it 4 months ago after she asked her doc if he thought it was a good idea and got the thumbs up. Then 3 months of kicking the can down the road ensued. It took a lot of work to convince her to start but she's seen my cousin balloon in weight while pregnant and then proceed to lose 70lbs. Then she saw me lose 60lbs and finally came around.

Why? Is he fat?

Well done!

Old method we used in corporate jobs to make changes:

When corporations initiate change using informal channels, they strategically seed "trial balloons" or trial rumors through informal networks, trusted influencers, or intentional leaks. This tests employee or market reaction, gauges resistance, and softens the blow of upcoming restructuring before making an official announcement.

How Seeded Rumors Work

Testing Reactions

Gauging sentiment: Leaders drop hints to informal opinion leaders to see how staff react without risking official credibility.

Measuring pushback: Negative feedback allows companies to tweak or scrap a bad policy quietly.

Managing shock: Soft hints reduce the trauma of abrupt corporate shifts.

Activating the Grapevine

Using influencers: Companies tap well-liked workers to pass along key concepts.

Planting leaks: Strategic details reach external or internal rumor mills on purpose.

Pacing rollout: Controlled whispers prepare the ground for formal town halls
