Hello all, [archived internal link]
does anyone have experience or knowledge about using ultraviolet sterilization for their peptides? perhaps from a SteriPEN Ultralight UV Water Purifier or similar device? [archived internal link]
thanks [archived internal link]

I'm not sure that I would recommend, many peptides are sensitive to UV degradation. In addition the devices you are referencing are not going to work. At least without introducing a large risk of further contamination. There are some other UV devices that you could place a vial inside and "cook" but .....meh.

Juice isn't worth the squeeze. Just filter if you are concerned about sterility issues.

If it destroys bacteria then it will probably destroy your peptides too.

As far as I know it is recommended to keep them in the dark away from visible light, and UV is much higher in energy and more likely to trigger peptide breakdown.
