I REALLY shouldn't do this and yet I feel compelled to point out that all of us doing illegal drugs at the same time in no way correlates with the ever-increasing (and somewhat amusing - and obviously intentionally incendiary and escalating) flaming of each other....

In other words: It is a logical fallacy that all groups of drug users always argue caustically over issues unrelated to the specific activity of their own drug use.

I recognize that I could be wrong. 🙂
I’m saying no one here has moral high ground.

It really isn't, though. It's a mean-spirited, degrading, shitty thing to say about a woman and I don't know if Meso is leaking or what, but this whole thing grosses me right out.
Too each is own. I thought it was funny af. The point that bro even said it is hilarious. Is it the nicest? No. Comical nonetheless. If I wanted to see whining I’d go hang out with my kids..

As most others have said I believe you get to make your own decisions, yadda yadda yadda.

No, I’ve never been overweight 😬 I guess I basically microdose to stay lean.

I think we need to know more about your specific goals before we can give you any good advice.

If you're at a healthy weight and it is easy for you to maintain there is no reason to be on something like reta ... Unless you are hoping to benefit from the other GLP-1 drug properties that some report, like lessening inflammation and addictive cravings.

If you're perfectly healthy and injecting black market Chinese clones of unapproved experimental drugs anyway , you are probably adding risk rather than reducing it.

(I don't know that there is any good evidence for benefits from "microdosing" these meds either.)

"Yes, that IS control .. HE doesn't want her to change anything .. who is that serving? Again .. we are not here just to please a man"

This was your comment this morning . Not a hypothetical, you were speaking about the OP's spouse.

I did read the thread in its entirety. She was asking for practical help in informing him and her thread was hijacked.
That was absolutely a hypothetical because it was a response to someone else's imagined reasoning.

OK here I can see why your husband has concerns.. Why would you experiment with grey market meds, if you have no health reasons to take that risk? That is a valid question.

There are 10,200 deaths per year which are the direct result of an eating disorder in the U.S., which includes anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and other specified feeding or eating disorders.
Your mention of anorexia does bring to mind the importance of electrolytes. Even living in a desert, I have never been even mildly dehydrated unless I was sick or a higher dose of tirz.

Of course, the ultimate excuse, valid or not, is anti-aging.

Now this is an absolutely valid point of discussion.

An obese person (like myself) is balancing the risks of taking an illicit GLP1 smuggled into their home country from China against the very real dangers of just being obese. Without being obese or diabetic it changes the story quite a bit. The potential of people with body dysmorphia and eating disorders is eventually going to be a bigger issue especially when the name brand drugs lose their patent protection and the prices drop.

On the other hand .. how different is a person at a healthy weight taking a micro dose from a formally obese person taking a low dose when they enter into maintenance? I'm not so sure there is a difference.

The difference is the tendency toward obesity, and the real health risk that entails. Maintaining health vs healthy person staying skinny. The staying skinny is where the eating disorder risk becomes real.

The same reason why some people use sermorelin or like TRT. I use it as a tool to reach my body fat % goals... I hit macro goals, take vitamins, stay hydrated etc

hol'up, that was you? Man, she ROASTED you when she got back the next day. Like, I felt bad for you after all the stuff she said, and you weren't even there to HEAR it!

Sadly, formally obese people are at as much risk, if not more of developing eating disorders and body dysmorphia. Its just something else that we need to be aware of.

(Does it show how much bariatric focused group therapy I've been in over the years?)

I learned at 30 if ya take good care of her, she's gonna tell her friends and then everyone adores you....

I honestly lost the plot when she got to the part about going into the bathroom and shutting the door. I can't finish at all unless I'm making angry eye contact and hissing "you're not a real maaaaaaaan" even on a good day, so the whole deal was totally alien to me.

This leads me to believe that there is a percentage of people here who intentionally gained weight so it’s easier to autoerotic asphyxiate. Dirty birds.

He doesn’t understand peptides, thinks injections are spooky, and doesn’t want me to have some long lasting side effect 10 years from now. All valid and he’s being a good husband. He’s the best
Everyone is tossing in their two cents here . . .

As a husband who is crazy for his wife, I'd generally support something she wanted to do, whether I thought it was a stupid idea or not. I'd let her know my feelings about it, why it seems like a stupid idea, but she's a grown woman and can do what she wants.

If it were me, I'd probably want as much information about it as possible about it if she were to change my mind. To that end, if I can help consolidate some of the research about it for you, let me know. I'm happy to list the knowns, unknowns, pros, cons, etc.
