I do just reconstitute directly into the lyophilized vials, I’m not sure what filtering means in this instance! (still pretty new to this all)

I still have 2 weeks before I leave so I have some time to make a decision
Let me help you with filtering information I was given when I first started! Everyone was so great.

But as far as Hawaii, I feel like they wouldn’t care about my ‘mediation’? They seem very concerned with wildlife and agriculture but I’m not sure if they’re strict on other stuff.
If you have an Rx, print a copy and keep with your medication and keep the PDF saved to your phone. The probability of needing is is low, but why not look prepared?

In general, flying domestically with your personal medication, is no big deal. TSA is safety, not law enforcement.

KS-TEK is a good brand that's available Amazon and elsewhere. I have their 3, 5 and 10ml ones. Good rating outside of Amazon too. I'll try that place @woundcarping has linked next time.
I have found ks tek to be leaking garbage

I’ve been worried about this too but from everything I have read it seems that if you just tell them it’s medication they don’t say anything? so I’m not quite sure yet
I’ve been to Japan, New Zealand, Ireland, the uk Belgium Italy and Greece with peps and not one time has it been questioned in my checked bags. Put everything in a travel insulin container and no one will wonder, they don’t want any part of the needles.

Thanks for the follow up link Neuro. I watched this video very early on as well.

@kittymeow , just a little more context on filtering (I'll try to make it brief)- Often the product/vials that are received from vendors are not sterile. Testing for purity does not equate to sterility, so, it can have high purity and easily fail sterility tests (which is quite common when tested).

As such, and for anyone that's looked into it, it is commonly accepted/expected to presume the product in general is not sterile, period. So, we filter. Filtering, even at home, with good practices, will indeed make the product sterile. This can and often reduces ISRs (Injection Site Reactions) as well as mitigating potential illness from injecting non-sterile substance.

There are many many many posts on filtering, search if you want more context. Highly recommended.

As to the original topic- I've traveled with a small ice-pack case designed for insulin, with a couple vials, a handful of syringes and alcohol wipes, and have never been bothered going through TSA.

I just used one of these guys last time:

ohhhhh thats a great idea!!! I can just find empty vials online?
$1 each from Walmart. Even cheaper if you buy in quantity. Filled via shipment from Hong Kong, oddly enough.

Robot or human?

I flew with : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F13D87TH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Rather than that contraption, I just use a Yeti that I have on hand and ice in a baggy. I use the one with the screw stop. Works like a charm. TSA has never batted an eye.

I traveled internationally this week with the same set up and no problems. And was thinking, if any immigration checkpoint could check mass/purity and peptide identification on the spot, then I need them to call Jano, cuz it takes Jano days 😂😂😂

How about 2-3 days travel? In a couple weeks I'll have a business trip and will have to stay in the hotel for 2-3 days. It is not overseas, and I stay in the country, but wondering, how to safely transport peps, when have to make few injections during those days. Is taking a "ready made" syringes in some cooling container a good idea, or not?

Insulin syringes are not sterile storage containers, so that's really not a good idea. Can you just adjust your pin day by 1 or 2 days.

Like just sday your normal pin day is Monday and your travel in Monday-Wednesday, just pin on Sunday.

If your normal pin day is Tuesday (using same scenario) just pin on Sunday too. If the normal pin day is Wednesday, pin on Thursday.

If you must travel with it, just put one dose in a sterile vial and travel with that unrefrigerated. It will be fine.

Like Grogu said, don't take ready-made syringes.

Just get one of these and don't sweat anything:

Thanks for advice. Think will take a look on some sterile vials on Amazon. I'll be on some everyday protocols then, so taking injections in advance is not the best solution.

Yeah, have seen in on Amazon. Think will spend some cash on that, or those tubes which keeps the low temperature up to 36h or more, depending on the ambient temperature

If I didn't want to miss a dose of whatever, I'd make a travel vial. Like Grogu, I don't store in syringes although I don't care if others do.

Personally for 2-3 days... unless labwork was coming up when I got back, I'd just dose before and let it ride. I take Reta M/F, Test M/W/F. Doesn't seem like 2-3 days would give me a meaningful interruption. I'd take my supplements with me, but they're stable at room temp.

I'm trialing some other things, but I'd let that be interrupted. If I did't want something to be interrupted.... travel vials that get thrown away. Even if I use a cool carrier and have a fridge everywhere I'll be.

It will be fine. The TSA nor anyone else cares about your peptides. I got a small case made for insulin on Amazon. It has cooling packs in the sides. Most hotel rooms have mini fridges and the ones that dont will provide one free of charge if you need it for medication. You could also just put it in a bucket of ice or insulated yeti style cup. It would likely be completely fine unrefrigerated anyway.

Are you checking peps that are or not reconstituted? If they are reconstituted, are there any issues with air pressure/temperatures?

That's the one I bought. Also, those might be 5 or 10 mL vials in the pic because I can fit 4 3mL vials pretty easily, although I'm only taking 3.

Is it multiple injections of one pep or multiple peps? Most hotels have mini fridges in the rooms, so storing the peps once you get to the hotel shouldn't be an issue. Just bring the vials and syringes and wipes in a travel container with you.

Not sure about peptides, but I have travelled abroad even, several times, with testosterone and needles and I never once had any problem. I kept my script in my carry on or backpack, but I was never even once questioned. Might depend on where you are going. I cannot imagine you having an issue traveling domestically.
