My GLP-1 journey started with semaglutide. After a few months it just stopped working, so I transitioned to Tirzepatide. I didn't know better, so I started tirz on the lowest dose and quit sema cold turkey, which made my hunger come back with a vengeance and I put on 15lbs I had lost.

I was on 10mg tirz when I decided to stack reta instead of going up in dose. It's been 3 months since I started tirz and I feel like the appetite suppression is t enough. So I've been thinking of doing caligrintide instead.

I know now the way to transition is to slowly taper off one GLP-1 while slowly titrating up another, but in this case I would have to be doing 3 GLP-1s, reta, tirz, and cali.

Has anyone gone to a similar transition? What did you do?

It would be okay to take all three: reta, tirz, and cagri. I have, but I was on low doses of reta and cagri, so no miracles or issues to report. But yeah, that is not as "clean" or "kosher" as just tirz and cagri (or reta and cagri). Tirz and future elora ("cagri 2.0") is the subject of a new clinical trial.

It's normal to have stalls, so when you say sema "stopped working," do you mean you were gaining weight too? As you probably know, some will stack a bit of sema with tirz or reta.

I'm in a very similar stall, added Cagri and now just waiting for it to kick in...

That’s a tricky switch because reta, tirz, and cagri can overlap in ways that make it hard to tell what’s doing what.

The food noise and hunger gradually came back and the weight loss stalled. It was hard to deal with. Currently stacking tirz and reta but I could use more appetite suppression, and I don't want to go up on tirz.
