To filter or not to filter, that is the question

Hi and welcome, brand new member.

I can appreciate that "The standard in science, pharma, and regulatory agencies requires multiple methods of testing peptide drugs for contamination since they all have "blind spots" that need to be compensated for."

But are you stating here that JANOSHIK TESTS of GLPs etc are "conducted AFTER being filtered with a .22um syringe filter"?

... which would mean that every time we confirm our product purchases with a Jano test, we are not actually learning what's in our own (unfiltered) vials ?

And that we are not actually using what we think we are UNLESS we filter it that way?

Because I have never, ever come across that piece of information.

Nor do I filter.
Yes. I can't share the screenshot here but Jano himself has confirmed this 2 days ago. You can DM me if you'd like more info.

Liver transplant $878,400+ (I've had one)

Filter .90¢

Tacrolimus for life = low immunity.

I took enough risks destroying my first liver. Personally I'm okay with a cheap precaution.
Former transplant nurse. I understand your thought process 100%.

But what is actually getting filtered out? If it is bacteria then OK maybe but they say that's not really a big concern. Does it filter the metals and other stuff out? Are you just removing it from one Chinese container that may not be completely clean and putting it into another Chinese container that could be just as dirty? Honest question but at the end what have you really accomplished? I guess anything that got in during the manufacturing but you are still using a container that's just as trustworthy. I haven't looked into filtering that much but I guess if it's getting out heavy metals or something then it's worth the effort.

I filter because I had a bad reaction that lasted weeks. Most folks don't. It's very inexpensive to filter for bacteria.
What do you all mean by filter?

It's a process where you run your solution through a filter attached to the end of a syringe. The idea is a small enough filter to catch bacteria but not peptides.

i don't like that. test it they way you get it.
Its done to protect the instrument. Specifically, the column

Does anyone know if the filters from aliexpress really are sterile ? I so far have stuck with peptidetest because of that thought.
