I know this isn’t really weight-loss appropriate, but figured I’d switch up the conversation today. Took the liberty to make a batch (2 gallons) of eggnog for the upcoming season.

Eight weeks from now it will be aged appropriately and ready for quart mason jars!

Cheers! 🥃

I'm ready for the holidays like you wouldn't believe. Tired of this hot weather and no eggnog 😡

How do you like your eggnog if you don't mind me asking?

Chilled, right out of the mason jar. How about you?

You have to age egg nog?? TIL!

When you're ready for the party, look up a recipe for Coquito! Or, I guess you could just add rum to the egg nog. 🙂
Coquito sounds awesome! I use Rum, Bourbon, and Cognac in the eggnog.

The coconut milk sounds delicious though, may have to venture out and try a recipe!

I was more implying with or without liquor 🤣

For me, its got to be rum. Coquito is probably my favorite variant of eggnog.

Coquito is fucking amazing. Most recipes I've seen don't call for eggs so people who have an ick for eggs in their drink usually enjoy it too. I love it both ways. And egg nog. I WANT IT ALL

This is what I used last time. I've used a few random recipes I've found online and they all were good. It's super simple.

Authentic Coquito | Puerto Rican Eggnog - Nata Knows Best

Authentic Coquito from Puerto Rico made with coconut cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and lots of white rum. It's the perfect holiday drink.

One of my friends makes this for us every year and he always puts it into a bottle with a whole cinnamon stick in it. After a few days it melds together and gets so good. 🤤 Between that and the pasteles, Christmas at their house is always something I look forward to.

This is very similar to the one I make. Yummmm, now I'm excited for the holidays 😁😁😁

Thanks for the reminder, I need to put some together soon. Last year was our first for aged eggnog and it was love at first sip.
