Anyone taken a higher dose than the 15mg recommended? Been at 15mg for a few months but last week absolutely starving and just had to eat so much. So last jab I’ve done 17mg and back to feeling satisfied with what I’m eating

I have been doing 7.5 mg every 3 days for since Nov 24/25. Loss has slowed as only 1.8 frontal and I am trying to increase calories. Have lost 72 lbs since June 16Summer48 said:Anyone taken a higher dose than the 15mg recommended? Been at 15mg for a few months but last week absolutely starving and just had to eat so much. New trials are going to at least 25mg. Most people shouldn't go that high but some people are lower responders.Summer48 said:Anyone taken a higher dose than the 15mg recommended? Has adding the Sema helped your weight loss progress? I am thinking about supplementing it with my weekly Reta.Grogu said:I take about 17mg to 18mg weekly and have good reduction of food noise and appetite. I’ve been on that level for about 2 months. My plan was to keep increasing up to 20 or 25 mg to goal, but I started a sema stack on day 3 about six weeks ago. I’m up to 1mg of sema. The “plan” was to cut back on the tirzepatide as I increased the sema, but really haven’t felt the need.

CMA Pooky said:Congratulations, 100 pounds lost is a big accomplishment. I also averaged 9 pounds a month during my first 2 months, but the past week+ I have stalled and gained almost 2 pounds. I Plan to up my Reta from 4mg to 5mg next dose and then add Sema at .25mg or .50mg weekly to my Reta in February.

I was reading up on this a week or so ago - I'm currently taking 15mg.zpped said:New trials are going to at least 25mg. Most people shouldn't go that high but some people are lower responders.

Any side effects, or just the usual to expect? I've been lucky that I haven't had any side effects whilst increasing to 15mg. Other than when I ate a slice of pizza (but I wont go into the aftermath of that!)Grogu said:I take about 17mg to 18mg weekly and have good reduction of food noise and appetite. Ive noticed that too. I split dose tirz and reta and have zero food noise or hunger, so ok with that until I get to goal and bulk back up with more muscleGrogu said:Yup, it's a little confusing, but it's the wild wild west out there. Lots of people on low doses of tirz and complaining about lack of weight loss or food noise, especially in reddit. I'm like really....

You sound like one of the I know what's best people. Let people do what they want to do, it's their bodies. Don't reply to anymore of my future posts, you will be ignored from now on.woundcarping said:I asked the same thing in his thread, I can’t make sense of it.

No one can stop you from doing whatever you want. But that won't stop them from saying what you're doing is dumb.CMA Pooky said:You sound like one of the I know what's best people. There is no such thing as receptor burnout. And mixing glp1 medications when you have huge amounts of runway to increase your dose is dumb.
