oh? why so?

why is it depressing?
The first post I read was about what shoes and inserts would make you look taller with being detectable to meet girls.

The next was some underage kid who already managed to get one vial of test and had no clue what to do with it.

I feel like these kids saw a few Instagram influencers and drank the kool-aid. The one kid is going to throw some saline water or bac into his test and slam the whole vial.

I won't be back to narcissistsrus.com. I assume it is owned by the theonion. I guess it is a good place to go to learn what not to do.

So, is the problem them doing stuff like this or them doing it in a stupid manner?

Yes, that is proof that this person was disabled upstairs.

Both.

I'm pretty sure young adults should not take Test, most would use hgh in their youth to not cause long term reproductive problems. Test later in life after you've had kids. There is a reason there are testosterone replacement therapy/TRT clinics and not HGHRT clinics. I'm sure there are some out there that don't care as long as they can make a buck.

I bet if I asked in the forums there what their hematocrit levels were, they'd have no clue.

Search on Joesthetics. He died at 30 from an aneurysm. Most likely due to testosterone and other peds use and ignored his blood work.

Interesting. Ok, what do you think about all the hundreds of thousands of bodybuilders who have children even though they started Test young? Same with athletes in other sports. I'm sure some have used GH too, and even Andre the Giant had a daughter. Do you think that maybe people use exceptions to fearmonger and convince others? Or do you think the use of PEDs is analogous to women getting their T & A done, though IMO, that's far, far worse, but you get what I mean?

I guess hot peptide summer beats totally blue sports betting summer. Those are the two trends I see in my work with the youths.

I'm not sure what you are trying to get to. A little research is all I wish these people would do before believing everything there pushers/influencers are selling.

If it wasn't a problem, countries wouldn't be locking down social media to 18 and older.

I'll save you the intense effort needed to find out what hundred of thousands of body builders do to have children.

Short answer:

Yes — when pro bodybuilders want to have children, they almost always stop taking testosterone or anabolic steroids, because these drugs shut down sperm production. Many then use other medications (HCG, FSH, Clomid, etc.) to help restart or boost fertility.

Below is the clear, evidence‑based breakdown.

---

🧬 What testosterone and steroids do to fertility

External testosterone (TRT or anabolic steroids) shuts down the brain’s LH and FSH signals, which are required for sperm production. This leads to:

Very low sperm count or zero sperm (azoospermia)

Shrunken testicles

Infertility

This is well‑documented: testosterone and anabolic steroids harm sperm production by suppressing LH/FSH, often acting like “male birth control.”

---

🛑 Do bodybuilders stop testosterone when trying to conceive?

Yes.

Most must stop all testosterone and anabolic steroids to allow the testicles to restart sperm production.

Recovery time varies:

3–12 months for many men

12+ months for long‑term heavy steroid users

Some men remain severely oligospermic even after 6 months off testosterone.

---

💊 What drugs are added to restore sperm count?

Fertility clinics commonly use HPTA‑stimulating medications to restart sperm production after steroid or TRT suppression.

The three most common:

HCG — mimics LH → stimulates testicles to produce testosterone internally

FSH injections — directly stimulates sperm production

Clomiphene citrate (Clomid) — boosts natural LH/FSH by blocking estrogen feedback

Evidence:

A study of men with prior testosterone use showed that HCG + Clomid + FSH helped many recover sperm production, with some achieving pregnancies.

---

🧠 Why they don’t just “add something” while staying on testosterone

Because you cannot produce sperm while on TRT or steroids — the suppression is too strong.

Even adding HCG while staying on TRT rarely restores normal sperm production.

To regain fertility, the testicles must be re‑activated, which requires stopping external testosterone.

---

🍼 Typical fertility‑restoration protocol (general medical info)

(Not personalized medical advice)

1. Stop testosterone / steroids

2. Start HCG to restart testicular testosterone

3. Add Clomid to boost LH/FSH

4. Add FSH injections if sperm count remains low

5. Monitor semen analysis every 2–3 months

This aligns with urology and reproductive medicine guidelines.

I was just checking to see where your takes were coming from. I have no doubt that people using exogenous Test would stop WHEN they were trying to conceive. In your previous post you said they should NOT take test when they are young. But since there are tons of people who did take roids when they were young and then went on to have children, it shows the azoospermia is not permanent in most cases. Obviously excessive use cases are there but those are exceptions. Oh and I wasn't referring to only bodybuilders but regular people too. You see, I was thinking of how it is plausible that with the exogenous Test, they could end up mating with opportunities better than they could have had otherwise. That's what I meant by it being analogous to women doing cosmetic enhancements.

So true. Never seen a movie do a book justice like Fight Club. Everything was so well done, people often think Tyler Durden is the hero lol.

Young people taking steroids could mainly just be an extension of the extremely high risk tolerance many people have in their youth. It doesn’t help that natural levels of TRT in men are at all time lows. I wanted to take TRT in my early 20’s because I was extremely motivated to get bigger and ‘optimize’ as much as possible but the anecdotal evidence of ‘plenty of people get off and/or take XYZ and have kids’ wasn’t compelling enough for me. Making myself infertile (with the plan to reverse it later) when I know with certainty that I want kids just didn’t make sense for me. Fortunately I haven’t struggled with extremely low levels, I imagine if I had a real deficiency that couldn’t be overcome through lifestyle changes, it would have made a lot of sense for me.

Crazy comment from someone located in Alabama I'm from the northeast concurrently located in WV, when i think of inbred and uneducated, Alabama is the first state that comes to mind haha. . Also Appalachia is indeed a extremely underprivileged, overworked, and underserved community in the US it is sad. Likely if your on this forum you are not the group I'm talking about (the technologically illiterate) most people can't/won't/shouldn't try to navigate crypto and it seems most people on here navigate that successfully haha.

That's a fair shot back.

See folks @ThunderBird knows how to argue on the internet. He fires back and then goes on to normal stuff. This is what people should do instead of going on an offended rant.

I realize that you're responding to Smiter... But do you really have to paste your entire page of AI word vomit into the post when you could have just linked the chat or put it into your own words? Nobody wants to see that, we all have our own chatbots. Linking to the chat itself has the added benefit of showing the prompt, which is useful for good faith discussion.

There's a book series I'm a fan of with some very dark themes. Going back to it in my late twenties is hilarious, because I remember looking up to some of these reprehensible, dysfunctional characters when I read them the first go around in my early twenties (which may as well have been my teens). Series is the first law and characters were Gorst and Cosca LOL

Ahahaha. I actually grew up in Appalachia. Some of the families I played with didn't have electricity consistently and the parents couldn't read.

Alabamans though... It's almost worse when they can read!

You can depend on everything to be ruined eventually. There's a timer on all of it. Get it while the getting is good and hopefully you'll have had your fill by the time it's taken away from you.

Maybe that mindset is why I ended up fat...

What even is "mainstream media" at this point. Sometimes I feel so cynical because things just seem like it's the overall system we're used to of maximizing the most gains with fuck all thought to consequences.

You're person of great character. (Thank you for already including the series + characters, and not making people have to ask and wait for your answer)

I'd still go up there in the 60's and 70's hunting w/ my daddy and my uncles. The shit I saw no one would believe when you get way back into the mountains. Hell my last name was the only thing that saved my life in certain situations.
