Once tirz has done the heavy lifting and you reach closer to the goal for weight loss, if you wanted to add tesa for visceral fat, how long are you supposed to use tesa for? Read different recommendations.

Just one cycle of 12 weeks of 5 day on, 2 off?

Two cycles?

One cycle of 16 weeks?

Trying to understand how much min cost is involved.

2mg daily, no evidence with ''cycling'', best to use personal judgment as can be used continuously, not something you can gain from taking breaks as it doesn't build tolerance as researched, use as you please, with a cycle or without, personal preference

No need for the 5 on 2 off, Tesa is best used daily unless you experience a level of water retention that makes you want to relieve it each week. Agree with above it is fine for long-term as well, limit is more to preference and financial commitment than any necessary cycle. I personally am doing 16 weeks minimum, about halfway through that now. 16 weeks at 2mg daily is 224 mg. If you go for 14 weeks you could keep it under 200mg total which would allow for 2 10mg kits or 1 20mg kit, either way looking at in the neighborhood of $300-350 for that length of time

How is it going for you? Are you stacking with a glp-1 like tirz?

I guess a dexa after the 14 weeks may be a good indicator to continue or not.

If one is talking about tesamorelin dosage without talking about IGF1 z-score, they're missing an important part of the picture. Run a dose for at least 2 weeks, and measure. Decide whether to adjust dosage then. Measure again in 1 month to see where you're at.

100% agree. Don't take GH segretagogues without measuring your IGF-1 before and during! Many people respond significantly on notably lower doses than 2mg/day. It very negatively impacted my HRV and sleep quality even at 500-750mcg daily.

I'm stacking with a maintenance dose of Reta of 3mg/week, as well as 300mcg 2x/daily of Ipamorelin. The Tesa has been great, it was kind of a slow starter, but there's been a significant reduction in belly fat as well as muscle gain. It seems to have really picked up steam or become more noticeable in weeks 6-8. I do pin in the AM because that and the Ipa were both detrimental to my sleep when i pinned them before bed, but that is the opposite of the effect that most people report. Tesa is on the expensive side, but well worth it to me so far, and definitely more effective for me than Sermorelin was.

Thanks for the reminder for igf levels. Have made a note of it.

Can I just say such forums are very educational and I'm learning a lot. Thanks.

honestly some great advice.

I also was doing Tesa 5 on 2 off. Basically just to take a break from pinning 7 days a weeks.

But reading this it sounds like I am better off taking it 7 days a week. Is that correct?

This one has been on my list to try soon. I did a short cycle of it before I discovered gray. Really loved the deep sleep I had with 1mg per day 30 minutes before bed. I have done a lot of research on different protocols, seems like to get the max benefit it needs 26 weeks. I am planning on doing the more common protocol of 2mg per day 5 days on 2 days off. However, the downside I have heard is after cycling on it, the visceral fat can return. I would hope with dialed in lifestyle factors that can be limited. For a 26 week cycle on this protocol you are looking at 3 kits of 10mg, so still not a cheap option.

I was pinning 2mg Tesa and 545mcg Ipa daily. Yesterday I decided to take a week break after 37 days. The fluid build up was causing carpal tunnel like symptoms in my arms and hands. It was like I had laid on them too long and they became tingly, numb and painful. I did check IGF-1 levels prior to starting. If I can get another lab scheduled, I’ll retest before the next go-around.

Happy to report after only 24 hours off all the symptoms have lessened significantly. Abdominal fat has gone down a bit.

I go 2mg on the days that I work out, which is two days of workout, and a day off. That gives me 5 days of Tesa and two days off each week. I just counted my empty vials and I've got 7 empty 10 mg vials. So I'm seven weeks into it. What a huge difference it's made along with the Reta.

Here's Jay Campbell's protocol.

My Recommended Protocol

Based on my personal experience, my work with thousands of clients, and the protocols published in my Peptide Cheat Sheet, here’s exactly how I recommend running this stack.

Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin Blend (taken directly from the Peptide Cheat Sheet):

The BioLongevity Labs blend comes as a 6mg/2mg vial (tesamorelin/ipamorelin).

Reconstitute with 2ml of bacteriostatic water.

Dose at 300mcg tesamorelin / 100mcg ipamorelin per injection (10 units on your insulin syringe).

Inject AM/PM.

5 days on, 2 days off.

8 weeks on, 8 weeks off.

If running them separately:

Tesamorelin: 1mg injected subcutaneously at night before bed (at least 90 minutes after your last meal), and 1mg upon waking in the morning (ideally before fasted cardio).

Ipamorelin: 100mcg injected subcutaneously first thing in the morning and 100mcg right before bed.

Same cycling: 5 days on, 2 days off weekly, for 8 weeks before taking 8 weeks off.

If you’re going to inject Ipamorelin only once per day, inject it before your workout… its rapid onset (GH peak at ~40 minutes post-injection) makes it ideal as a pre-workout GH secretagogue.

For women, Monica recommends the Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin blend at 150/50 mcg, in the PM while fasted, 5x per week, 8 weeks on then 6-8 weeks off.

I forgot to add, I only take Tesa 1mg, Ipa .3mg a night. I was 5 on 2 off, now on 7 days a week. Plan on running it 30 weeks total
