Technically Possible To Combine Reta/Tirz w/ Eloralintide?

Curious if anyone is familiar with the science on this... E.L. is looking to run clinical trials of Eloralintide in combination with Tirzepatide and/or Retatrutide which would theoretically/hopefully be a killer combo and I know a lot of us here are looking to do that combo.

But here's my question - with Eloralintide being more complicated/difficult to manufacture (and subsequently for gray marketeers to test) would it be possible to combine the two in one solution?

For example, I'm trying to figure out what Novo is doing here:

https://www.fiercebiotech.com/biotech/novo-ceo-insists-no-change-plan-cagrisema-launch-after-single-chamber-device-ditched

"Novo had also been working on a co-formulation version that could have potentially allowed for CagriSema to be administered in a single-chamber device. However, the company revealed in its first-quarter earnings documents (PDF) Wednesday that it has terminated this co-formulation project “due to portfolio considerations.”

Just more complicated for them to bother combining when they can manufacture each separately at a lower cost? Is that the right read there? Not that it's technically impossible, just that it's cheaper for them to manufacture separately and then offer a double-chambered injector device?

Guess I'm trying to figure out just how complicated Elora is as a whole - I don't personally care if I had to take separate shots and it would generally be better for most of us anyway because you could tweak each dose to your liking.

Cagri is being combined in one vial with like sema, reta, and tirz by sellers.

My guess is this will eventually be tried with elora, once production becomes more standardized and wide spread. Give it six months.

The strange thing is that how cagri was engineered and how eloralintide was engineered both need solutions with decidedly different pH levels than glp-1 based medications and these levels are in opposite directions. That's the weird thing. The fact that NN decided to pull the plug on figuring out how to do cagrisema in one solution makes me think that different pH levels are really required.

I will be doing my own personal research trial of Eloralintide on top of Tirz this week. Will keep everyone updated. Starting at 1mg. Currently debating same day or 3 days apart.

You might have already pinned, but If it’s anything like cagri, I’d definitely recommend pinning on a separate day.

Did you do anything to adjust the pH or just using straight bac?

Seems the Chinese figured it out. I have seen sema/cagri, tirz/cagi and recently reta/cagri.

I have not as shipping bumped a day. Plan on straight bac. Leaning towards a staggered dose as well. Tirz Thursday, then maybe Monday. I eagerly await.

Thanks for the update! Please keep us in the loop as you progress! Should be very interesting.

This. Cagri will knock you out if you take to much. Me I can't take over .75

Or they haven't figured it out and don't give a shit what we inject.
I really wouldn't take cagri in any combination. I can only take .75. I tried going t 1mg but I just couldn't take that much. Cagri is no joke.

I agree that cagri is no joke! I just pinned my third dose (.5mg) a few minutes ago. Things are getting a little better, but it knocked me on my ass the first week 🤣.

I'm really not sure who's combining cagri with gpl-1s in a combined formulation, but I wouldn't do it. Not only because of the pH issue, but also because I'd want to take them on separate days. That's helped so far with the fatigue.

Arrived today. Mixed with 2mL bac. Clear. No clouds. Dosed 1mg. Will take usual Tirz on Thursday. Wish me luck!

Omg I can’t wait to hear how this goes for you! I been staring at the price and have managed to refrain from buying because it’s so expensive… but I’m kinda dying to try it myself. Thanks for your adventurous nature and willingness to share your experience. Good luck!

1 yr Tirz user. 15mg weekly.

Did 1mg yesterday afternoon( 14 hrs ago) Bac 2mL. Came out crystal clear. I am due for my Tirz on Thursday. The thought was to take at the 5-day post-Tirz dose-mark as when the concentration( Tirz) starts to fade.

1st impression this morning is my stomach feels bloated, as if I ate a huge meal. I did poop in the morning, but it was more strenuous than usual. Not hungry at all.

The energy level is good, and I slept well. It is early in the research, so I will update again in a couple of days. Interesting that it has a 14-day half-life. Plan is to add to Tirz stack as needed.
