You are correct in thinking $325 gets you 10 vials.

But it's still twice as expensive as many other vendors.

I guess it depends on what you're getting. If that vendor is doing testing before selling, that has value as doing it yourself isn't cheap either. I'm all about saving money, but it doesn't always come directly down to cost. If someone offers a product that has legit testing and they are trustworthy, I think that's worth a premium myself (not saying they are doing that, just that there is a gap in the market I think).

First off, I owe you all an apology—I’m very new to this field, and I’m probably about to ask the most embarrassingly basic question you’ve seen all week. Maybe month. Maybe ever.

I’ve been ordering from a compounding pharmacy up until now, and while the quality has been solid, the prices have been absolutely feral. Like, second-mortgage-level feral. So, I’m finally trying to figure out how to buy peptides direct, and that brings me to my current confusion.

I’m looking at a supplier called Nexaph. On their site, they list vial options like 10mg, 15mg, 20mg, 30mg, and 60mg with prices accordingly. For example, the 30mg option is listed at $325. But the description says: “Tirzepatide (10 vials/kit).”

So… here’s my question, probably obvious to the rest of you brilliant scientists:

Does that mean:

$325 gets me 10 vials, each at 30mg (i.e. $32.50 per vial, which would be a dream come true)?

OR

$325 is the cost for just one 30mg vial, and the “10 vials/kit” thing is just a description of how many you could possibly order in a kit (in which case… RIP my wallet again)?

I know this is amateur hour, but I genuinely appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you for not throwing beakers at me, and thank you in advance for any insight or math wizardry you can provide.
It is 10 vials of 30mg each. Nexaph is a good vendor, particularly for your first grey order. Once you're comfortable with things like testing, and willing to use crypto, there are absolutely cheaper vendors who are just as good. Feel free to dm me.

Thanks, all! Very helpful!

I'm not gonna get into arguing about all the reasons I won't use nexaph, because that's been documented plenty of times and I don't think they are the worst choice. But I'm definitely not a "lowest price wins" person. And the prices I mentioned come with at least equivalent testing.

So I haven’t ordered grey yet but have been doing tons of research. Nexaph seems like a great option as far as ease of payment and reliable products. Just a bit on the high side compared to other vendors that are reputable. I’m on the fence about which one to go with so more research it is.

Wading into the grey can certainly be bewildering. Go with the least confusing option at first til you're comfortable taking risk. At least you're not going compounded. I understand it is the safest, least confusing option but the price! Ah, but it beats full price with no risk. Just find your compromise price between full cost and lowest cost while still buying quality products. It's a fine line to thread, hence the need to research before you pull the trigger.

More the former than the latter. Questionable excipients, cardboard and specks in vials, melted NAD that went out the door that way, and, most recently, significant intra-batch variability for overfilling reta.

Nexaph is a good vendor (none are perfect, all have had problems) and a good choice for a first purchase since he ships fast and takes PayPal for payment (most kit vendors are moving to cryptocurrency payments). Another advantage is that there are well organized testing groups for his products: Testing yourself or in groups is a vital part of grey peptide risk reduction.

However, his prices have skyrocketed lately. After your initial order and getting more comfortable with grey, you might want to expand your search of vendors for the next time as well as learn how to pay with crypto. In the meantime, enjoy your journey into the grey world and welcome!

I've been reading about that just now. That thread was a wild ride.

I tend to want to believe it is a fluke born from too much business in a very short period of time. I want to give them some reasonable doubt, but of course I would prefer it hadn't happened at all. Time will tell which one it was - current business practice or just growing pains from an expanded business.

Part of the risk of buying grey.

It's also harder for Nexaph to compete on price when their biggest reta is R24, which lasts only two weeks per vial for some people (at over $500 a kit, unless there is a pre-order coming soon allowing one to pay PGB prices of $400). You can get twice the amount, R50, for $300 from SRY or SSA, including SRY's US warehouse.

In other words, you are paying more (no big deal to some), but then you have to reorder twice as often (unless you are doing a thousand-dollar order for two R24s). Yes, they group test, but so do people on TG and Discord, for low-cost donations.

So my theory: The loyalty to Nexaph and PGB is partly fueled by having to order more often, a gray version of Stockholm syndrome, haha.

I was just offered $0.50/mg from a seller I currently trust in a private group buy. Prices keep coming down. No way in hell I'd pay a $1/mg let alone $2/mg for Reta.

I also always take advantage of buying in bulk so I can save on testing fees.

Everyone has to make their own decision on what they are comfortable risking. Paying more for convenience and less risk is worth it to some people. I couldn't convince my own family to buy grey - they went compounded with what's currently prescribable. They can't conceive of any risk whatsoever. I don't understand their wanting to waste money, but then again, I do.

That's an amazingly helpful compilation of reference data there, Calm.

I don't know what we're paying you here, but whatever it is, I vote we double it.

ETA: "joking" 😂

Calm is never gonna get a raise.

Good stuff... we went from tirz30 180.00 and now we're getting 110-130
