Lil introduction, closing in on 46yrs, was a collegiate athlete, always been a big guy, though in great shape during athletic prime. Injuries and enjoying food and drink culture took a toll. The “all in” focus I had in sports became “all in” on BBQ and craft beer/spirits. I had ballooned up to about 385 and had a very young kid so I got my stuff together and got myself back on track and lost over 100lbs getting down to upper 270’s. I had help from Dr prescribed phentermine during the loss. Covid hit and I really couldn’t handle seeing the abuse of authority from Gov and the stress had me bounce back up to 350ish. This time, I was referred to a specialist who placed me on Liraglutide. I worked hard, lost about 30lbs, but I did not jive with Liraglutide. For every unit of appetite suppression I got, I believe I got 2-3x the appetite rebound when the effect wore off.

A year ago, I got into a men’s health clinic and began TRT and really had a life changing effect. The youthful vigor of my 20’s returned and I was able to drop substantial weight and gain that level of recovery where I can train and actually improve instead of just be sore and stuck on the couch.

I began to hit a plateau this summer fall around 280lbs and I thought I give the new gen GLP’s a try and was able to break through and now hovering around 260 and at a weight I haven’t seen in 25yrs. I’ve always had an interest in bio hacking and human performance so that what has brought me here to learn more.

Thanks
