That’s good to know that combo worked for you. A couple years ago I had a bad sciatica flare up. Due to a herniated disc and a bulging disc that I injured a few months prior. Hurt so bad I went to ER. They gave me two shots one was decadron and the other was toradol. And scripts for flexeril, prednisone, and lidocaine patches. It worked to calm it down. I still had the lingering mild sciatica pain but could move and do my job again. When it flared up, I was worthless it hurt to do anything. Luckily no flare ups in 2 years and hardly ever have radiating pain down my leg. My low back still bothers me sometimes but for the most part doesn’t prevent me from doing anything.Calm Logic said:During a flare of sciatica, I was once prescribed a combo of gabapentin, meloxicam, and duloxetine (low doses for each except 15 mg of meloxicam).
So I just get that stuff from India now and take as needed, like a week before going to a concert, along with a quarter of a marijuana gummy for muscle tension. I may try soma sometime instead of the gummies.
I’ve also been considering trying soma and will definitely throw some in my next order. Would be good to have on hand for muscle spasms and it’s cheap. From what I’ve read it’s very effective too highest rated muscle relaxer on drugs.com by patients. 9.1 out of 10 which is a very high score. Flexeril is rated at 6.1. Also at-least from my source flexeril is over twice as expensive as soma.
