Survo - Can I freeze after reconstitution?

Welp, I'm only taking 0.3 mg every six days for sixty days (may titrate up after that, but I want to reach steady state before I decide), and I've got 16mg vials. I split one of those into five sterile vials and froze 4/5 of them. I guess I'll find out in ten weeks or so if the 4/5 in the freezer are ruined. I suspect they're probably fine.

What about reconning it, dividing into single dose, or 4 week dose vials, freezing and only thawing when you need a new vial? One freeze thaw cycle only. ??

No yikes. The no-freeze advice comes from the original form of the medication, whose mechanical injector pen would be messed up by freezing. Lab tests have shown that the chemistry itself is unaffected, and quite obviously the crimped-on rubber stopper wouldn't be affected by freezing either.

Do you have links to tge lab tests done on reconstituted peptides that have been frozen?

The Survo or the frozen vial? Just started Survo this week due to getting a bad batch. I now have the good stuff. I did split it into 2 vials and froze one. I pinned 125mcg and had a rough go of it. Maybe it's just not for me. Or maybe my anxiety didn't like that it felt different. Anyways, we'll see...

I haven’t done this. 30mg vial lasts me about 8 weeks and I’m just pushing it. However there’s a good sale right now on R60 and I’m thinking of 2-3 kits of that. All my reading and research so far say it is fine to freeze reconned GLPs and infact a may compounding pharmacies were/are shipping frozen and instructing storage in the freezer between doses. So for me a 60mg vial could be filtered and split between 3 vials for 20mg each which would be an ideal dose. Theoretically that’s a working system for about a 6-7 year store of Reta at ~$0.46 / Mg

I'd be more worried about sterility issues when splitting it up into multiple vials.

I'd either move the reconnned vial in and out of freezer (it thaws quickly) or just ignore the 4-week rule and go with 12 weeks refrigerated (as I and many others here do)...assuming always alcohol-swabbing the top before puncture, including at recon.

meant to update; I'm on week three of a reconstituted-then-frozen vial. I only do (currently) 0.9 mg once a week, stacked against 7 mg of tirz. My recon was a little unusual; I reconned a vial with 1 mg to I think 13 mg, split it into five vials with 0.2 ml each, and am adding additional bac when thawed. I did it this way so I could start at the 0.3 dose and then either titrate up or not and not have to use a ridiculous amount of bac if I got up to a higher dose on this first vial.

My first vial was never frozen. My second vial was, and I can feelz no difference. Mind you, feelz are not science, and my dose is very small; I started the Survo hoping to combat the tirz fatigue, but there DOES seem to be a small food-disinterest effect from it.

Survo is less popular, so there are less studies on it, just like sema. Tirz is basically indestructible. Reta is a little more fragile, but people are still testing its limits. It's hard to know how survo will react- more like tirz? Like reta?- because it works on different receptors.

Based on testing that's been done, your choices sound pretty reasonable to me, personally, assuming you split a 13mg vial into 5.

I think you may have gotten the bolded part mixed up? Can you clarify?

Ope! Look at me spewing gibberish--yes, thank you. It was 1 ml of bac water. And I lied; it was a 16 mg bottle I added that 1ml to, not 13 (just went and looked up the coa.) and then split that into 5. thank you for asking that.
