I tried Ozempic once, and it didn't really do much for me. I made it up to Mounjaro 7.5mg as well, and it was mostly the same. I'm a bit of an odd ball as I need to lose a bunch of weight, but my HbA1C has always been normal at 4.9. I'm rarely super hungry even without taking these meds. My thyroid is a bit sluggish, so I started treating that in case it's part of the problem, but I'm hoping reta with the glucagon piece might help kick start something the others never did.

Did anyone find themselves in a similar situation where Sema or Tira didn't work so great but Reta maybe did? Thanks.

I'm early on in my journey, but I can safely say... Don't waste your time with pre-filled pens / USA/Canada-based distributors. Find a solid overseas direct manufacturer / vendor, take a look on here you'll find some info.

I wasted ~$300 CAD on a pre-filled pen, and then spent $300 USD for a year's supply equivalent. Furthermore, there are some refillable / reusable pens that are great. You can reconstitute the peptide and fill the pen with it, just like the disposable Mounjaro-style pens, without needing to mess with insulin syringes etc.

That is the info that I need .. where do I find that? I mean .. I don't even know the search terms that I need.

Underground Supply sells reusable pens, which are in stock except for most of their kits of pen supplies.

Another supplier:

All Things Peptides

allthingspeptides.com

There is also more info about pens and pen suppliers in the accessories forum:

Yah don't worry, I got some vials from a trusted source on order and have arranged testing with one of the main labs in Europe. I'll have enough for a few years worth when I start. But good advice!

Lots of success with Reta out there. My recommendation is start low, titrate slow, the effect for me really didn't seem really noticeable until 6mg. ( maybe 4mg to a point )

Thanks, looking into how to use them now. I'm starting with a pen that has a syringe inside of it. all things peptides seems to have what I really want if I can figure it out.

Sorry, I dropped the ball on my response, but others here have helped you out significantly! Best of luck!

Have you had many issues with the refillable pens? Or have they been okay? Which ones do you use?

Are you testing alone?

Also have you had the results back?
Yah, it was fine. I did a reta 15 and a reta 30 and they both came back fine. Price was about 230 USD for first one and 100 USD for second one.

Zero issues. The cartridges are ~$1 USD and the needles are ~$5 for 100.

Super simple to do. The key here is to remember you're making a solution with a specific concentration. For example, a pinch of salt in a thimble versus a pinch of salt in a soup. You'll need a bowl of soup to consume the same amount of salt as a drop in the thimble. That's the best way to describe the logic behind this process.

The one time I will suggest generative AI like ChatGPT or Grok: ask it to check your logic, and it's pretty accurate with that. So for example: "I take a 2mg dose of a peptide. I have a 10mg vial, and 3ml of liquid. I will reconstitute it to 10mg per 3ml of liquid. My pen has a 3ml capacity. What's the dosage in millilitres, and what number of clicks will that be on my pen? It has 60 IUs as the "maximum single dose"."

It'll help you tremendously in the basics. And use a calculator!

That's great 😃 I take it you got the actual reta for quite cheap then?

Thank you 🙂 I shall let you know how I get on after I find a testing group to join
