That's how I feel (keyword feel) about gluta IM injections vs oral NAC. I have a lot of "rust" to work on for now, and I can do both. And high does of NAC can raise hematocrit, in a bad way.

ok, I was just pointing out what i knew about the science. I'm glad it's working for you.tendency said:Because we're all different and different strategies work/don't work for certain people. In my case the precursors - NMM/NR did nothing.

Here's my protocol logic:Twowheelr2 said:Tell us how it’s supposed to be done.
Where does this protocol originate?Loeve said:They're synergistic. Prime with SS-31 to repair mitochondria and then stack MOTS-C and NAD+.

I can't find the origin of it. There are a few protocols that are very similar. I just did an AI search and one of my own posts here was used as a citation.MeedzMoar said:Where does this protocol originate?

I know you've tried just about everything, but did you try NA Selank yet? I've been taking 600-800mcg SQ the first two nights after my Reta pin and It's been working great. You have my empathy.PAPoots said:I started with that protocol and until the point where I was taking the MOTS-C and NAD and then I got hit with the energy of a pre-workout without any side effects. So I have my daytime energy sort of worked out, now I need to figure out sleep.i think if I could dial that in, my days would improve.

I deal with the same. I have been on KLOW and that gave me a bump in my energy. I have been taking NAD+ and it helps even though its temporary-I take it daily at this point. I started SS31 5 days ago and it has made me more fatigued (which I’m hoping improves-I may lower my dose). I have not tried mots-c yet and I am waiting for slu-pp-32 capsules from Amazon, hoping they help.Desieldogg said:I'm looking to battle some fatigue, and I've read endlessly about SS-31/MOTs-C/NAD+, but I'm still having trouble deciding how I should proceed. Should I start with the SS/MOT protocol, then move to NAD+? After SS, do I stay on MOT forever?

How are you pinning it like a glp (sub q)Twowheelr2 said:This is a 14 Week protocol. Weeks 13 and 14 are the same as Week 12..MOTS-c and NADS+. The PDF has links to files and research documentation to explain the reasoning behind this schedule. I started it Firday.

Pretty much the same. MOTSc areas needed to be alternated due it ISRs. I mainly used glute area for MOTSc and 1/2 pin. The ISRs weren’t too bad for me. Small welts and some itchiness. And yes..SubQ.Madkate said:How are you pinning it like a glp (sub q)

Time for an updateSakeSan said:4 week update on running SS31 with some background:
Late 30s, I’ve been on low dose Reta (0.5mg e5d) for 4 months. No other peps or meds, except a cycle of glow50. Dropped 9% body fat, now around 19%. Took nad+ e3d 50mg and felt significant change in baseline energy. Finished a cycle of ss-31 4mg every day for last 25 days and I’m left with more energy than I can spend. I don’t remember the last time I went to bed without being tired, but still being able to sleep. My head is buzzing in the morning when I wake up. Sleep score is averaging 88 despite getting up at least once to pee at night. I’m going to start mots-c before workouts next week but honestly don’t even feel the need for it. I can stack 2 workouts in a day and not get tired. Recovery is better too. Didn’t even know I could raise my baseline energy levels this high.
Happy to answer any questions and help other level up![]()
Right, on!!!Turbo-Farmer said:Started this one today, at least the 4mg of Ss-31,
I have been getting the nad+ from a tele-health because they take my HSA card.
I recently went to the Dr for a follow up on my a1c and it was in the pre T2D range slightly 5.8 with a fasting glucose of 94. However the alarming result was my fasting insulin was at 19.9 which puts my HOMA-IR (Homeostatic Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance) score at 4.6.
I am very hopeful that this protocol will allow me to improve that score and make the over fitness journey more sustainable.
My Dr is one of my biggest fans and she loves it that I go running every morning just to spite her and stay off the statins, blood pressure medication, etc.
We I first me her she told me my A1C was so high that there was no chance I could reverse the T2D.
