SS-31 + MOTs-C vs NAD+

I like to inject things that leave temporary marks on me (GHK, MOTS-C, etc) in less-visible areas, like the upper quad. It doesn't help with the bite, but at least you won't have to worry about the spots being visible to most.

Are you using any wearable to track sleep quality? Ss31 wired my research subject and for that reason it was always taken in the am.
No, sorry I do not wear anything. I went from waking up around 3-4am every night to waking up when my alarm clock goes off at 6am and i feel incredibly well rested. I wake up and I dont have to snooze the clock for half an hour.

Is anyone filtering their NAD+? I'd like to filter mine but wasn't sure if it can be done.
I filter mine..

So I started the Mots-C phase of the 14-week protocol this week. Started with 1 mg on Monday with no issues, not even an ISR which is good. Went to 2 mg today and I've been feeling a little dizzy all day. Not bad, just strange. I've been getting my water in, but it's still weird. Going to 3 mg Friday, which should tell me for sure. Then 5 mg the rest of the way, if it works out. Anyone else get that dizziness? I was more worried about a histamine reaction than anything and didn't get that.

Vestibular dizziness is not uncommon, as an issue separate from taking peps. Especially during viral infectious disease season. Maybe it would be a better test if you this let up before you try the next dose, that way it would seem more likely to not be a coincidence

The protocol is 3x a week, so I'll have tomorrow to recover, if needed. I don't think it's related to the flu or illness because it started within 20 minutes of my dose this morning. Going up 1 mg on Friday should tell me if it's the cause. We're all lab rats. 🐀

Not so much thinking you can’t tolerate it, but if it doesn’t go away before you take another dose and it escalates, it will have less confidence to decide if it’s just a coincidence or due to the mots. I hope it just goes away!

Thanks, me too. I understand that correlation doesn't equal causation, also. We'll see what happens.

I’m coming up on the final 3 weeks of the protocol. The RS has been tolerating the peps very well. I also have been following the protocol dosages. The previous MOTSc (number 5) dose did result in an itchy area. Nothing too bad, but there was a reaction. The RS was introduced to GLOW during the protocol to see if there would be a ISR to that blend. To prep for GLOW, the RS took oral anti-histamine meds. I’m thinking now the anti-histamines for GLOW may have helped the first few rounds of MOTSc. Today is dose number 6. Will see how it goes. BTW, the 100mg NAD+ does leave a lump. The reconstitution ratio requires 40 units for 100mg.

Throughout this process, energy levels have been elevated. Workout performance is better. Higher numbers when compared to previous workouts, I have been pleased with the whole process.

Follow up from yesterday’s post. This RS did have a lump from dose number 6 of 5mg MOTSc. Using 1/2 pin in the fleshy glute area. A little itch and the lump is still there after 24 hours. Next one is tomorrow.

Pinned the 5mg MOTSc today. The things I did differently are administered Zyrtec anti-histamine orally before the pin. Immediately after the pin, I used a vibe gun on the RS for over 5 minutes. Together, these precautions made the reactions from MOTSc very minimal. Got about 1o more to go.
I titrated up to 3 mg Mots-C last week. I start 5 mg tomorrow. So far, I've had no adverse reaction, not even an ISR. 🤞

Totes jelly. I really liked MOTS-C; I honestly liked the whole mitochondrial protocol. I really DID feel better during and after. But the hard lumps for weeks was just one gross out too far.

Holy Shit. I researched the 5 mg dose Mots-C this morning about 5 hours ago and liftoff has commenced. Is this what meth feels like? I feel like I could fight a bear. I did a lot of, er, substances in the 70s and 80s, but never meth.

My mood is up and I'm pacing my office while on phone calls. This is nuts. I'm not sure how I'm going to follow the protocol for 6 more weeks because I'm going to run out of bears to fight and there are a lot of them where I live. Anyone else find this to be like clean rocket fuel?

What is your heart rate like? What is your blood pressure like?

UP. I'm buzzing like a bee. It would be hard to get a true reading because of Reta.

Edit: BP is 132/90. Slightly elevated from normal
Thanks. It's very odd since when I search online, it says multiple studies associate MOTS-C with a lower BP and HR (!) But after reading your comment, I really begin to wonder. I have a kit I was suppose to use but I need to keep my BP & HR in check. On a side note, do you use anything to lower your BP? I've recently switched to Telmisartan; seems to work nicely.

I've been taking Lisinopril for several years. My doc says 10 mg is a baby dose, but it works. I have a cuff at home, but since starting Reta, I have a lot more variation in both numbers it seems.

The good news about yesterday day is that it had worn off by the end of day and was able to get a good night's sleep. My mild anxiety may have also been a factor as I hadn't experienced such a clean hit of energy in decades, if ever. I do still recommend it though. Everyone is different, but the difference between 3 mg and 5 mg Mots-C to me was a game changer. It may not be for you.

Finished this protocol this week and I enjoyed it overall. The SS-31 for the first half did the most for me, something I could notice. The back half with Mots-C did not have the same “I’m on something”. I’ll probably run this again as I gained a clear head and more energy that offset the Reta. SS-31 3mg, Mots-C 5mg, NAD+ 150mg

Thanks for the update. I’m in the final weeks. 3 NAD+ and 6 more MOTSc doses to go. My research mirrors yours. The SS-31 along with NAD+ for 6 weeks was amazing. Mentally and physically had so much endurance. The daily SS-31 pin was annoying at first, but I really missed it when completed. MOTSc is leaving welts and itching, nothing too uncomfortable tho. This is the 14 weeks protocol, 4mg SS-31, 100mg NAD+ and 5mg MOTSc. Not sure what’s next for me. Was planning a GLOW or KLOW cycle but may do Tesamorelin for a couple months first.
