Smart Scales - Opinions please

After discovering that the accuracy of these scales had diminishing returns, and even dexa can be questionable, I ended up with an etekcity from Amazon for $80 or so. It's consistent with what I see in the mirror.

A friend bought the same scale after researching the high $ models. Best features for the cost.

i know it is not calibrated or anything, the weight at least is accurate. At the very least it is comparative over time to itself. I am happy with it.

I have a Withings brand with all the bells and whistles. Can't really recommend their more expensive scales. The visceral fat levels appear to be straight up wrong for me. It told me I had a nice level at 5'4" with a 41" waist and visible apron belly. Very hard to believe and makes the rest of the readings somewhat suspect. The bf% does seem to correlate with a visual check. At this point I just use it for weight. I do like the app. It's very easy to customize displays and measurements. I find the daily forecast quite useful. I would consider buying them again but not their top of the line model. I also have their automated blood pressure cuff and it appears accurate.

My Renpho lasted about 2 years before becoming unreliable. The second one I have purchased to have that issue.
