I have a few sets coming and I want to freeze them. Reta, Tirzep, NAD and BC10. I have three different freezers in my home and they all auto defrost. It sounds like Auto Defrost could damage the peps. Does anyone own or have experience with a great small freezer that will work for my long term Peptide storage needs.

Lypholized peps are going to be fine. Janoshick even mentioned a shelf life of years at room temp, doubt a defrost cycle is going to have any impact. I've noticed no loss of potency in my freezer stored peps
Thank you. This is one of those ones with many opinions. I figured for 200 bucks having a designated freezer could be worth it. But if you think it’s ok, that is a big step in the right direction.

How long does the auto-defrost defrosting on a freezer last, anyway? Would an airtight thermos jar (like a hydrapeak or something similar) protect the peps from that fluctuation? My chest freezer doesn't have an auto-defrost but that's how I store mine because it's easy, solid, and convenient.

If you are really looking for long term storage you want a freezer that will consistently hold -20c. Peptides are very stable but Freeze/Refreeze is not supposed to be good for them. With auto-defrost the temps can fluctuate quite a bit which isn't ideal. If you are shooting for a few years, it probably doesn't matter. If you want more like 8-10 you probably want the -20 without auto-defrost. Theoretically at least, none of this has been tested with common peps.

This little thing has been great.
