Sorry for the lack of updates, I have had a tough couple of months, I herniated a disc at the L4-L5 area and it has derailed my weight loss journey. Anyway decided to post an update because I just had a scary reaction to my Survodutide injection.

I have upped my Tirz to 10mg and today I decided to step up my Surv to 3mg. About 20 minutes after the shot I had a series of bad reactions.

It started with some Heart Palpitations/Racing Heart, then I felt a hot flash that started from my chest area and spread throughout my body. When it reached my head I could feel my face burning, I started having a headache, my vision started narrowing and I had sparkly lights forming followed by dark spots. My body broke out into a hot and prickly type sweat and I felt like I was going to throw up.

Fortunately a friend was over and I asked them to watch me just in case once I felt my vision narrow. My friend said my eyes had turned bloodshot like I was some sort of crazed anime character. After about a minute of peak symptoms and just when I was going ask my friend to take me to the ER, the symptoms started subsiding.

Its been about 2 hours post reaction and I currently have a moderately heavy feeling in my chest that is slowly going away, sulfur burbs are starting, my stomach has minor upset, torso area is splotchy with the red areas feeling slightly raised and weirdly both index fingers are swollen, and feel like I jammed them.

All in all a scary experience, one I had never had before and I don't recommend. I am not sure why upping my dose to 3mg from 2mg did this when previously I accidentally went from 1mg to 4mg by accident with no symptoms. I suspect it could be a bad vial, the previous 3 shots from it gave me some ISR reactions and after this experience I tossed the vial.

Update after 8 hours: Everything has returned to normal. Chest/heart is fine, the index fingers now feel normal and even my blotchy stomach with the raised red areas has returned to its normal pasty white.

The vial is from PGB. It was the 4th vial from that kit I ordered and besides my little mistake with in the beginning I can't recall having an issue with any of the others.

The ISR's were slightly concerning because I have had them occasionally from other shots but they weren't every time like this vial was. I was actually debating before taking the shot if I should throw it away, make another one or skip the shot instead but I had only 2 shots remaining in it so I decided to go for it. Regret.. yeah I regret my penny pinching ways after this experience.

I try doing some research on my reaction and the closest I found was when people took a high dose of Retatrutide right away instead of allowing their body to adjust to it. Their reactions mimic what happened to me.

So I am thinking maybe that my 4th Survo vial had way more than the 12mg it was supposed to have. That doesn't explain the ISR's though, so it could also have just been a bad contaminated vial.

I know that if you Google symptoms, it'll always be cancer, and that we do not take medical advice from ChatGPT. After taking a break a bit, I decided to try Survo again. The new vial is from the same PGB kit so I was very nervous when I injected in but everything went well with no reactions. I had no ISR and no scary reactions, so its looking more likely that the previous vial got contaminated somehow.

The PGB vials for my Survo have a thicker, harder seal to them which makes it difficult for my insulin needles to to penetrate and withdraw the Survo from. So for the old vial I did transfer the Survo to a Ks Tek 3ml sterile vial I got from Amazon but I decided against transferring for this new vial. So that maybe a possible source of contamination.
