I didn’t personally test the Reta, but I purchased it from a vendor listed under the Vendor Connections tab on this website. They provided Janoshik lab results for their batch. I don’t believe it’s fake, especially since my spouse struggled significantly with weight loss before and is now seeing noticeable changes. As for my part, I track my calories very carefully—I weigh everything in grams and stay consistent. I’m typically eating around 1,500–1,700 calories per day and getting approximately 180–200 grams of protein daily.
I don't know then. 15-17 is already pretty low. Unless you are already pretty small and lean. Even with zero drugs I would expect you to be losing weight.

Did you just recently start TRT? I wouldn't normally expect it to impact much unless you just started and/or you are blasting.

The only things that make sense to me is that for some reason 15-17 is maintenance which sounds unlikely unless again you are already pretty lean. Or you are retaining a bunch of water for some reason.

Maybe you won't respond until the higher doses 8-12 mg. Increase your dose, but not too fast.

It's not that uncommon to not respond to the lower doses. You are not at non-responder on the lower dose 4 mg.

Also consider if something else is going on, - did you have a full blood test panel before you started ? It's a good idea to have a baseline. If you have some metabolic issues, the drugs often need to be in higher doses to loose weight. You are only on 4 mg now. The medicine needs time to work.

And you don't say how much you need to loose, how high are you and what weight ?

UPDATE: Turns out this post was completely unnecessary 😅

Alright, I owe everyone an apology because this thread ended up being a total waste of your time — and that one’s on me. I was basing my entire opinion of my progress on how I felt and how I looked , instead of doing the obvious thing and actually stepping on the scale. The truth is, the scale and I haven’t been friends for a few years now, so I tend to avoid it about 99% of the time. I figured I’d just “know” if things were working based on appetite suppression, visual changes, or how my clothes fit.

Well… today I took my 6th injection , and something told me I should finally check the scale.

Turns out I’m down 24 pounds (11 kg) .

Yeah. I felt pretty stupid immediately after seeing that number, considering I just made a whole post questioning whether this was even working. Clearly, it is working — just not in the way I expected it to.

What’s interesting is that I still don’t really feel strong appetite suppression at all. I can eat normally, and I don’t feel dramatically different day to day. That said, my cravings are mostly gone, I’m not constantly thinking about food, and it’s been much easier to eat clean without forcing it. I guess the changes were happening quietly in the background, even if I wasn’t consciously noticing them.

So yeah — lesson learned. Sometimes progress doesn’t “feel” dramatic, but the data doesn’t lie. Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply and share their experiences. Sorry again for the unnecessary panic post 😅

Don't worry about it. This stuff is magic and you just found out.

Ahh I'll add that to my list of basic questions to ask when people say they aren't losing weight......have you been weighing yourself?

Mystery solved.

It takes 4 weeks for Reta to reach therapeutic levels. You're also titrating up very quickly. Typical protocols show 4 weeks at each increment, also starting at 2 mg, but sometimes lower. If you're already at 4mg and tolerating any sides, I would suggest staying there for 4 weeks and then reassessing. Have you moved from Sema or Tirz to Reta? This can also cause slow response until you reach a higher dosage.
Good insight, i havent had weight loss yet and im on week 5 of reta, but i do see the appetite suppression and I think I eat less overall. I wonder why it takes 4 weeks for it to reach therapeutic levels - I don't relaly know what that means honestly

The best way to visualize how your dosage reaches saturation, and what levels you're at and when, is with a plotter. You can plug in your dosage over the past 5 weeks , or project your dosage, and see what it looks like. https://glp1plotter.com/

;0.25毫克

6天后等于0.125毫克;

第0天:1毫克;

第 12 天:0.13 毫克(第 0 天)+ 0.5 毫克(第 6 天)+ 1 毫克 = 1.63 毫克;

天)+ 0.5 毫克(第 12 天)+ 1 毫克 = 1.81 毫克;第 24 天:0.03 毫克(0 天)+ 0.13 毫克(第 6 天)+ 0.25 毫克(第 12 天)+ 0.5 毫克(第 18 天)+ 1 毫克 = 1.91 毫克;

Sema

-圣诞节期间我放纵了一周(我猜这就是体重增加的原因);

At 310 lbs I started super low and slow at .5 mg for two weeks before moving up. Oct 4 310 lbs and december 17th 280lbs at 5 mg

nice post …

Half life is important to understand and this shows it clearly.

I personally started at 308lbs and starting dose of .5mg. Clear results from the start.. December 17th 280lbs at 5mg.

Not perfect experience though…i popped 10 lbs over Christmas and flatlined loss for about a month.

Three things happened that I can point to.

-Christmas I cheated for a week (I assume that was the weight gain)

-ipamorelin started dec 23

-Reta supplier changed dec 23

Now Jan 23 sitting at 283 and at 8 mg for second week straight.

I get the weight gain but that resulting “stall” still has me a little puzzled

Thanks for your info
10lbs is only ~9 bottles of water.

To gain 10lbs of fat in a week you'd have to eat an extra 5000 calories a day... that seems unlikely. Ipamorelin can cause glycogen stores to increase (water weight), appetite increase, and lean mass increase. Enjoying the holidays plus less exercise plus a 'morelin could explain the weight stall without much effort.

Was it a stall, or getting back on track, adapting to ipamorelin, and getting the 10lb off more likely? Are you accurately tracking calories, macros, weight, medications, and exercise?

I started TRT this week which is expected to give me similar scale noise in the short term (water weight) before the longer term benefits present. I accounted for that in my trajectory plan and so far I'm 3-4lb lighter than when I started.

Just upped to 10mg….its definitely been a different world on slower loss since Christmas ….although 30 lbs super quick is likely mostly water

Have new blood work coming In and as long as %fat is in downslope I am happy …

Thanks for the imput

Hello,

I purchased Retatrutide and am currently going into my fifth week. I started at what’s considered the higher end of dosing and have gradually increased from there. My dosing schedule is listed below. So far, I’m honestly not feeling much of a response. I’m still able to eat normally, though I have noticed that my cravings are mostly gone and it’s been easier to eat clean. I do feel slightly fuller at times, but that’s about it. My girlfriend is following the same plan, and she has already lost 23 pounds, which makes me wonder if I might just be a non-responder. I’m feeling a bit underwhelmed and curious if anyone else has had a slower response or noticed that it took longer for things to really kick in.

Dosing schedule:

Week 1: 2 mg

Week 2: 3 mg

Week 3: 3 mg

Week 4: 3 mg

Week 5: 4 mg

Thanks in advance for any shared experiences.
What are your numbers ? Age, weight, gender.

Im gonna add that I've had a two bunk vials that came from arguably respectable vendors with janoshik testing. I looked up the test data on janoshik to verify no photoshop high jynx and they panned out.

From my understanding reta is more likely to misfold or some stuff way above my level of biochem than tirz and that doesnt show up on the testing. I know they were bunk as my heartrate started dropping, that minor skin feeling disappeared, hunger returned. Doubled dose and still nothing, new vial and back on track.

This is a really underrated post and easy to miss! The plotter is great and yes, it gives a really good view of how much GLP-1 is in potentially in your system. I tried it and it was suprising. I'm in week 1 of my R journey and this has certainly stopped me from panicking (as I'm 'feeling' very little). I can also see why people titrate with unrealistic expectations and possibly overdosing.

Glad to hear that and that was the intent. In our instant world, some things still take time. Give it a chance to build up and titrate slowly. I'm in week 16 and only bumped up at 4 week intervals, but I'm also a good responder. I'm down 50 lbs.

Just a general question... if you and scales haven't been 'friends' for a few years, how do you actually know your starting weight?

I got the newest Renfo model when I started. If you don't track your weight, it's like driving in the dark without headlights.
