My PRNs for some of my GI sides: simethicone, generic Voquezna from India, and Pepto (which specifically mentions belching under "Uses" on the back) or Alka-Seltzer. All of them can help different aspects of belching/burping:
Taking simethicone with a meal (or within 30 minutes after) can be proactive rather than reactive.
I also use probiotic supplements as well as Kefir sometimes and sauerkraut (like on my vegan hotdogs). And digestive enzymes when I remember.
Google Gemini said:Medication Your Strategy Role Why it works for GLP-1 Belching Use it when... Simethicone (Gas-X) The De-Foamer Breaks down surface tension of gas bubbles so they don't get "stuck." You feel physical bloating or sharp gas pains. Vonoprazan (Voquezna) The Acid Shield Stops acid production faster than PPIs; prevents "acid burps." You have a sour taste or burning in your throat. Pepto-Bismol The Odor Killer Bismuth reacts with sulfur gas to neutralize the rotten egg smell. You have the "sulfur burps" or mild nausea. Alka-Seltzer The Pressure Release The fizz helps force a "productive" burp to clear pressure from trapped gas. You feel "heavy" or over-stuffed after eating.
