This winter i peak bulked to almost 200lbs, I've always loved food and i am a frequent snacker, ive always had issues with portion sizes and snacking on calorie dense foods like almonds or pistachios. This was the main reason i started researching peptides as i was curious on which ones would suppress hunger the most.

Needless to say, I started taking Reta and slowly started titating up my doses weekly, im finally on 1.5mg and am thinking of staying here for a few more weeks.

This dose is absolutely wrecking my cravings to eat anything, i never think about food, its getting difficult for me to maintain 160g protein daily, the meals which i use to steamroll off my plate are now sitting for extended times, (use to finish my food in like 1/3 of a youtube video but now sometimes lasts the whole video).

Clinically, this is a super small dose isn't it?, this stuff hits me like a truck.

Its crazy how it effects everyone so differently.

Currently down to 172lbs ~ Goal weight of 150lbs.

Reading some other posts, it seems that other GLPs may be better at suppressing food noise, but I have only ever tried Reta so cannot compare. I started with a low dose of 1mg/week. Similarly to you, I almost immediately didn't really think about food, entirely stopped snacking and meals just seem so much more filling. At first I thought it was placebo effect or something, but I've been steadily been losing 2lbs/week for the last 4 weeks on this tiny dose.

My wife asked me the other day had I lost weight, so placebo or not the scales aren't lying and a change in body shape has been noticed ... I've never had a comment like that before so I was very happy and smug with myself.

She knew I was taking a "weight loss medication" and was very skeptical of "something I bought on the internet". But guess what ... now she's on it too ...

Super happy with the results for such a small dose, i got a pretty big kit cause i thought i was going to keep titrating up. But its pretty nice we are responding so good to it, i will need way less than anticipated to hit my goals. Keep it up man

You might be super sensitive to reta, which makes it easy, but given you are wanting to lose 25% of your start body weight you will probably have to increase doses eventually, As you lose weight your body gets hungrier so may need more reta to keep that under control after a while.

At 2mg I can barely eat. Once I was around that, maybe 3mg stepping a dose, and couldn’t sleep for 2 weeks. I would have to just drink like 6 shakes those days. Now I cruise at 1-1.5 mg.

I also slowly titrated up to a point where it became obvious that it was too much. 2 weeks at 4mg was killing me so I skipped a dose and am starting over with the knowledge that I do not need to aggressively ramp.

I experience similar - I am 13 weeks in, running 3mg/week (just bumped up from 2).

My experience on Semaglutide was that I had zero desire to eat, no hunger, no craving. I only did Sema for a couple of months, as I felt like hot garbage - trying to hit any kind of macro target was an absolute death march.

What I appreciate with reta is that my general food noise/cravings/bad habits are silent. I do experience mild hunger at times, yet I am able to make better choices in that moment rather than standing in the pantry eating while I decide what I want to actually eat 🙂 . hunger suppression or not - for myself it is helping me change my relationship with food.

Exactly. I'm experiencing the same thing, and having been on Semaglutide and Tirzipitide, both of which completely shut down my desire for food, I think Reta does a remarkable job of allowing me to get my macros in and enjoy small portions of healthy food. At first, I thought it should be better at shutting everything down, but within the month I saw it was offering me something better: a healthier relationship to food.

.5 last 3 weeks. I am sensitive I guess. May go up to 1mg next time around. (6 5" 230)
