Ok. I haven’t purchased yet- well, I have purchase a 10 kit from Binh

Ahhh! You didn't say Binh! 🤣

Is he disclosing what's in your vial besides actual peptide? In the past they've explained their nice and crumbly appearance (and sting) due to not using Mannitol. I'm not complaining cuz I love the stuff... About to inject some AMO Sema and Cagri late summer '24 a good vintage!

PS - Never divvy dry peptides... Not even in Miami.

Hello friends…

Any thoughts on repackaging higher dose vials into lower dose vials? Like if you got a 60mg lyophilized vial and opened it up, weight out 6 10mg doses and put them into 6 new vials and sealed them up.

Sterile process is needed of course. Just curious if anybody has done it. What the pitfalls to avoid would be. What tools would be needed.

Minimum would be sterile environment/field, sterile tools for transferring and measuring powder, a scale…idk what else I’m just shooting from the hip and theorizing.
You Must Recon first. Or you need to be in a completely sterile lab, even then.. They sterilize the peptide in the vial with the cap on for a reason.

I did that with my Klow 80. I reconstituted, adding 3ml bac.( the capacity of the vial it came in), then filtered into a sterile larger vial, to which I added 3ml more bac water.

Then I transferred 3ml each into sterile cartridges. I added one into a pen and kept the other in a case in my fridge.

Now, technically, there is risk here since you are breaking the seal on that vial, and Peter from Jano says toss after 28 days... Most everyone here has used peptides beyond that, but if you introduce a contaminant or there is some in your new vials, you are at risk of growing unhealthy stuff in there the whole time they're sitting, even in a fridge.

Watch the peptide test video about filtering on their website, they demonstrate the antiseptic process for this recon and transfer process.

Not to mention it's highly unlikely that anyone reading this thread has a scale that would be accurate enough and in the correct setting to weigh such small amounts accurately, even if the API is perfectly distributed among the filler.
I have such a scale. I use it very accurately for weighing other powdered form substances. But the points about humidity and sterility is sound.

Binh has R60 on sale cheap again… I’m definitely going to pull the trigger and split after reconstitution. What’s the take on freezing reconstituted Reta? End up with 3 vials of 20mg opening the fridge 2 in the freezer. ?

This is something I’ve seriously considered. From what I gather it’s the freeze thaw cycles that are bad. If you recon and store in an insulated container in the freezer to avoid fluctuations, it would be a good experiment. Report back if the lab rat survives!

You have a mcg weight scale but give me crap for my $700 electronic lab pipette? EXCUSE ME

I guess it wouldn’t be so bad to lose $20 to science

Overfill isn't going to allow you to split that evenly. 🤷‍♂️ That "60mg" might be closer to 65 or 70mg.

I mean… I have a lot of white powder to portion for my ‘bizniz’ and it was on sale at eBay…

That’s why we test, and recon first. Peptides don’t settle in solution, as long as you use one syringe body to draw and distribute the doses to separate vials splitting the dose shouldn’t be problematic.

I more mean it won't be 30/30 due to overfill. I hate overfill with a passion.

I love it! My preparation always results in some losses (transferring, filtering, etc.) so a known overfill actually yields a more accurate final vial content. As long as you can account for it within reason, it actually can benefit the end result.

I sort of do this for my spouse and I. I use 120mg vials that will hold 6ml, that’s how they came. I reconstitute it with 6ml of hospira then draw 3ml into a new vial and needle and syringe filter it into a 3ml pen cartridge twice with appropriate sanitation measures. I think you could do the same and leave the other half in the vial the powder came in and refreeze the liquid just fine

If you ever order from a peptide synthesis lab here in the US they will aliquot by weight as part of the service. https://www.genscript.com/peptide.html?
I still don't understand this.. haha. $700/mg?!
