Reconstituted Reta - what's the latest on shelf-life?

degradation is a thing, so I go by 6 weeks max after that I deduct 10% each week for degradation.

i know, what i'm saying is, it's so cheap to get so much of it, i really doubt the supplier is trying to scam you for a few extra bucks a year

60 days is also about double the most conservative timeline usually used

According to Janoshik 2 years in the fridge and 10 years + in the freezer -20 celcius.

And 6-8 weeks reconstituted.

This must be the last post about storing and how long you can use the products.

Recomendation is of course to buy vials that lasts only the time period mentioned

Lol, I bought 120mg vials recently, they were extremely cheap. But im currently helping like 5 people out including myself along this journey. My only real worry is that there is no coa for it, but lots of current coas from vendor for 60mg and lower. Ima have some fun with those vials rwconstituting, measuring, breaking them up and then tagging them
 
When i see this asked about peptides like Bpc157,a time based answer makes sense if we're talking about effectiveness. Because let's be honest, you cant FEEL bpc working. But with a glp, I know when its working. Assuming your using best practices when it comes to sterilization and storage, id say use it as long as its still working and looks good

I thought that the number of jabs would be a limiting factor, but I read somewhere that type-1 diabetics often inject multiple times a day out of the same vial that they use for a month. That would put the punctures over 100 per month.

But I agree, for me, I couldn’t imagine using a vial more than 3 months or about 12 punctures.

I ended up with a kit of those. If I ever get to them, in 5 to 6 years maybe, I plan on splitting into smaller vials and freezing.

I am not really comfortable freezing reconstituted. Are there any references on freezing?

Don't have a reference handy, but it's going to vary by peptide, with some being more stable than others, so what's true of tirzepatide isn't going to be true for peptides in general. From what I've read, tirzepatide is pretty stable in that regard (freezing after reconstituting), but obviously you wouldn't want to do it that way unless you had a good reason to.

I'd imagine the thought process is that this is more of preparing for a doomsday scenario. If after nuclear war breaks out between China and the US and OP is in one of the regions to survive the initial destruction, somehow obesity is still prevalent, and it's impossible to source tirzepatide, those vials will be worth their weight in gold.

Or in 5 years US customs starts using AI robots to inspect every package 100% of the time and short of smuggling the vials into the country by shoving them up your butt before travelling the gray market ceases to exist.

Most likely neither of those scenarios play out and grays continue to flow cheaply, but in that 1% edge case, you'll sure be kicking yourself that you didn't stock up when you had the chance! 😉

One freezing cycle with reconstituted Tirz will not be a problem...

And if I tell you that in all the samples I already analyzed I find PFAS in all you them and no one discuss it here in the forum?

The analysis I saw from Jano LCMS are only targeted compounds like Tirz or Reta

I never saw a TIC chromatogram from a sample and try to identify unknown peaks..

Most of the people, after a Jano testing, with a "good result" feel comfortable to inject but the truth is that no one knows the amount of unknown compounds that are really there

So, regarding freezing reconstituted Tirz, believe me, It will be the least of the real problems/risks

Just my opinion

Are you saying you identified PFAS in some samples, or are you asking the hypothetical of what people would say if PFAS were identified at any significant concentration?

I identified.

The concentration is small... But it's there..

It's was not PFOA.

But everything that you inject with PFAS will normally stay in body for quite some time. They are very stable and difficult to break

I don't know were could be the source... if it comes from the rubber seal (normally rubber are not suppose to have PFAS) or from the manufacture process (tubbings mostly in contact with solvents during synthesis)
 
Thanx I'm somewhat concerned regarding PFAS. However mindful that they are arguably difficult to get away from in many environments.

More information would be helpful and I'm sure that it will come out over time with further testing
