Hi all. So often, the posts on progress that get made are from those unfortunate cases where a person is pinning like 60 mgs twice a week and still can't break the stall. I would love it if you all would share some success stories or encouraging progress if you can. I am too new to really share, except to say that my transition from Tirz to Reta is about 3 weeks in, and I am feeling really great. I'm at 2mgs, food noise is very manageable. I have an appetite, but I get full pretty easily and stay satisfied for a long time. I've lost a couple of pounds, but I was more concerned that I would go up in the transition and I didn't. I know that many people don't really lose much weight until 4+ weeks or even 8+ weeks.

Anyway. For those making progress, nearing their goals, and reta is doing its work behind the scenes, tell us about it. What has made the difference for you? What advice would you give someone at an early stage or at a stall? What mistakes did you learn from? Stuff like that.

Hey! I started Reta 4th of February 2026. Since, I have lost over 14kg. My SW was 78.8kg and my CW is 64.1kg, with my GW being 49kg.

My first dose was 0.5mg and I immediately noticed it taking it’s effect within 2 days. I got less hungry, with less food noise and slowly, I got full faster. The next week I pinned 1mg and stayed at that for 2 weeks I think, while I was seeing constant improvements in hunger, cravings and getting full.

Eventually I went up to 2mg, while still seeing results on a lower dose, and that’s when tragedy struck. I got so sick, I was barely able to eat 500kcal a day. I would constantly throw up and feel nauseous - just the smell made me want to run to the bathroom. And despite waiting 7 days before I pinned again, lowering the dose back down to 1.5mg, it lasted for a full three weeks until it got better, which made me really lethargic and weak.

Right now I’m at 2.5mg, loosing weight very fast still, with little appetite and getting full fast. Reta is awesome and it’s changing my life, also helping with my PCOS immensely 🙂

Reta worked great for me. Two things really enhanced the Reta, starting an exercise routine and then after I got smaller I started on Tesamorlin so that I could get rid of the visceral fat. Once I started the exercise people started commenting on how much weight that I had lost. The truth was that I had lost very little. I'm assuming that I was gaining muscle at the same rate as I was losing fat. The nightly Tesla injections are getting to me, so when this vial is done, then so am I, at least until I feel like I need it again. I'm sticking with the Reta and exercise

We started 1/9/26 and down 36lbs as of Friday. Started at 2mg/4weeks, 4mg/4weeks and currently at 6 weeks at 6mg, and staying there for now as it's still working. No major issues except some heartburn, mainly on shot days. Obviously no major appetite, but that has seemed to get better. I had some sleep issues about a week or so ago, but I think that was my brain not turning off. Pretty good the last 3 days. Stalled a little on the last doses of 4mg, but flipped over to 6mg.

62M former athlete. I've had one heck of a remarkable journey on Reta. Down more than 60 pounds. Started at the end of December 2025. 40 pounds of inflammation came off in the first 9 weeks. I had been on Carnivore for years and able to get myself down to 220 pounds with miserable 400 calorie days. But the swelling (due to disease) remained. And the utter lack of energy due to not eating enough had ruined my life.

I'm now 6 pounds from my goal weight of 190. Saw myself on my security cameras today and I'm not fat!!! I no longer have moon-face from the Prednisone I take. And I swear my eyes are no longer as squinty.

I have:

Hashimoto's complete thyroid failure

Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency (complete failure of pituitary gland's ability to produce ACTH)

Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (like Lupus)

Possible Myasthenia Gravis, negative labs, but very drug responsive.

In a very real sense, Reta has restored my life, with the exception of Cholesterol and Triglycerides, my labs are no longer in the 'Danger Red' zone. My endocrinologist was very impressed.

I started at 2mg - now at 5, lost 65lbs since October. 44/f 205lb-140lbs. Love reta.
