Possible noob question: is there a way to "split" vials?

Here's the deal: I'm trying to order form an EU warehouse because I would rather not deal with customs and intercepted packages.

I'm currently at a low dose, and the only product available is TR40, which is way too much for me.

Is there a safe way to reconstitute it so I can make two reconned vials out of it? One for me and one for my girlfriend?

Again, possible noob question, but I don't want to throw away perfectly good peptides because my dose it too low and they get too old.

Thanks!

Yes, no issue at all, especially if you're filtering as I'd recommend. Reconstitute, then pull into a 3ml syringe, attach filter, put half each into two sterile (and vented) vials.

Having said that, how low is your dose? Tirz in particular is very robust and fine for 3 months in the fridge with BAC. You'd get through most of it even at 2.5mg/wk. I'd be a bit more concerned though if you're using sterile water for injection instead of BAC though since you're in the EU and that seems more common there.

You can reconstitute in one vial. Then with a new sterile vial and new syringe, you can transfer half of the liquid. You first buy sterile vials, I get mine from Amazon in the US. Most of us use a vial much longer than the recommended 28 days. So, a 40 mg vial will last for 16 shots (weeks) at 2.5 mg per shot (half that long if sharing). Often before 26 weeks occur, you end up increasing your dose, making the time shorter. When I use a vial that long, I carefully inspect the liquid before use. I look for any cloudiness or floating particles. I use a small flashlight when I do this. I haven't yet found a problem.

I bought 3 kits of R60 to share with friends, my wife and I have our friends over every Sunday since Game of Thrones started, and when it's not on we watch other things.

...So I talked them into buying enough Reta to last all four of us for one year.

I reconstitute and filter one vial into one new vial and we share that vial every Sunday.

Now to answer your question, If they should decide to stop Sunday TV night, I will split one vial into two new vials after recontitution while filtering, I bought some 10ml syringes to do this with but 3ml would have been good enough, just split it in half.

I could also get pens for all of us so I would split the one R60 vial into four 3ml pen vials.

I suggest that everyone filters everything, just search for "peptide filtering" on youtube, it's easy and only costs an extra dollar or so every time you reconstitute.

If you choose not to filter, then just use a regular u100 syringe to take out half and put in a new vial, no problem unless you can't source sterile vials. Make sure to wait 20 mins or so after reconstitution for it to umm... reconstitute.

***Note: I know nothing about sourcing EU supplies, but I think there's a section for that.

Can you do this with Reta, how long will it last in the fridge? Where is a good place to get sterile vials in the U.S? Is Amazon really legit?

Thank you!

@Throwfa if you happen to find, or already know, a place in Europe that offers truly pharmaceutical‑grade sterile vials (reliable both for sterility and for being free of particles), could you please let me know? 🫶

The KS-Tek on Amazon are. I have some R140 coming, it'll be while, but I'll split this into vials when I reconstitute it. Haven't decided on the amount yet.

Hey thanks for the vial lead.

How long will the R140 last in the refrigerator after being filtered and reconstituted with Haspira Bac water?

I appreciate the info!
